Election Day!

Today is the day you should be out voting... or should have voted. Don't forgot... Don't get lazy... and Don't make excuses. Get out there and flex that muscle. As someone says "There are too many squeaky wheels" and if you don't vote, you have no right to squeak about government or politics.

Well, didn't lose any of our phones, or any of our virginities (at least not recently) but did lose this episode and that was slightly dramatic. Now on to the show!

The Mega Millions and Powerball lotto were at record levels and we discuss it a bit because, well, it's kind of a must. That somehow leads to the shuffle infomercial including our hopes and dreams. Then we talk about our night at the compa Momo's stand up comedy night and a few highlights. Shuffle... to some stories of a trip to the Coachella music festival from a bit back.

We also have a discourse about the new Halloween movie, horror movies and movie sequels in general. Of course that shuffles over to old school fashion styles. Then the recap.

Still celebrating the one year anniversary over here!

This might or might not be what the raza expected... a best of the first year. Or worst of... you decide.

We have enjoyed ourselves through the good and the bad. Hope all you out there in the internets have also. Pretty sure we accomplished more than what we imagined... but then again, maybe the bar was set low. That said, maybe the bar for year two should reach for the stars. Or maybe... that's just a lot of maybes!

Thanks again raza for all the support! (Btw, still in search of that tenth fan... if your out there.)

Still doing our thing over here...

On this installment we hear someone's personal diary on his true vacation trip to the the mother land. Then... a bit more travel logs. Plenty of vacation highlights including cancelled flights, donuts on the beach, and missing items. Don't worry, plenty of classic interruptions are dispensed along the way. That leads to the unfortunate events of someone else's weekend trip and a discussion about event refunds. Then some more little things here and there including... traveling through time...kind of.

Shuffle takes a little turn to something a tiny bit more serious about some honorable endeavor that someone might be doing. Somehow, that takes us to a debate on public restroom soap... yeah.

Oh yeah... there is a Mexican attack crab in there too.

Now on to our show! This week we tackle some heavy topics but not to worry we mix in the typical pendejadas. We kick it off with a discourse about "body positivity" and the return of the church of Sir Mix A Lot (supposedly). That leads into stories of being mislabeled and being self-conscious. We have a conversation of the science and bro-science of the subconscious mind and development. Let's get ready to rummmmble.

Then... sponsor time! Then... onto round 2! Time for a discussion on the term "latinx". This leads us down a rabbit hole... sometimes the shuffle gets a little passionate or heated... this turns out to be one of those times. Good times.

One year ago, we started this dog and pony show and like most things in life, it went pretty fast. We've learned quite a few thing since and have quite a few things yet to learn, but we are grateful for all the raza out there listening. Still amazed that there is raza out there listening to our pendejadas. The fact that you give us your time is incredibly chingon! Thank you.

So yeah, this is our one year anniversary! A huevo! We celebrated this milestone with the raza at the Montebello Artfest. Met with chingon fans and made news ones plus interviewed some incredible guests. Chido!

This week, we talk to some film icons. No joke... these guys are deeply rooted into our chicano culture and we were honored to have them stop by our booth. Our guests: Danny De La Paz (Puppet in American Me), Daniel Villarreal (Little Puppet in American Me), and Will Gotay (Pancho in Stand and Deliver).
