Chip and Cern vowed to give the Ben Affleck’s Batman a fighting chance and watch Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. This was done in prep for the Justice League movie that is coming out in Winter 2017. Chip and Cern actually did some homework and gave the movie a viewing.    Chip and Cern yank the podcast right off the rails straight away with diving into the Shake It Off song by Taylor Swift, who is high on Chip’s “want to bone” list.    Here is the tailer for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IwfUnkBfdZ4   After review of the trailer Chip and Cern have shit on it pretty hard in some point in the podcast history.    On Rotten Tomatoes Batman v Superman scored 28% from the critics and 63% on the Audience Score and 6.7/10 on the IMDB ratings.    Chip’s Headline Review: He was expecting shit and was pleasantly surprised and enjoyed it.   Cern’s Headline Review: It was a pile of shit. Hated it. Really hated the director’s styling with the slow mo bull shit.   Both Chip and Cern didn’t like how the movie was portrayed as Batman fighting Superman when that wasn’t a big part of the movie.    Chip liked the decretive aspects and the grittiness of Affleck’s Batman. Cern would rank Affleck under Christian Bale’s Batman, but not really close in comparison.    Cern liked the Superman aspect, but again goes back to how much he hates Zack Snyder, which Chip agrees with.    Cern did like the monster fight, but hated Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor and it made Chip cringe it was so bad in some scenes.    Chip did like the Wonder Woman addition and is looking forward to the stand alone Wonder Woman movie coming out in 2017.    This movie was a good set up for the Justice League movie and it gave a good quick backstory to how the Justice League came about.   Superman was very much into giving the D to Lois Lane. Something about Amy Adams’ eyes is a little off to Chip.    Chip has seen a fair amount of Zack Snyder movies which was surprising to him. Looks like DC is going all in with Zack Snyder for all the break off movies.    Another negative of the movie was how long it was. Cern felt it was really dragging on in the beginning and there was lots of fat that could be trimmed.    The General Zod rebirth was interesting, but there seem to be more villains they could have went with.    Now Chip and Cern get into a little erotic fan fiction with Lois Lane and the Justice League. She is a three hole-er. The trailer for the newest Star Wars: The Last Jedi has dropped and Chip and Cern weigh in. Luke’s    If you missed the Force Awakens episode give that a listen here. Chip and Cern commit to watching Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. Also there is a Chip and Cern man-date planned to watch the Last Jedi in December. Both Chip and Cern assume that she is the last Jedi.    Cern wants to know what Luke means by “the Jedi has to end.” The Batman needs the Joker and Superman needs Lex Luthor, so without the Jedi will evil need to be around?   Chip predicts that there will be more Jedi discovered by the end of this movie.    Chip got duped into some YouTube click bait shot by shot breakdown of the trailer. Chip and Cern tapped out after a few moments.    To no surprise, the Star Wars movies have made some fat cash. Unless you have been living under a rock you should have heard about the United Airlines cluster fuck with yanking a 69-year-old man off an overbooked flight. The man David Dao was bloodied up and dragged like a rag doll off the plane.    Here is some footage of the incident from a cell phone/ potato.    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VrDWY6C1178   The video is pretty disturbing and hard to believe that a customer would get treated like that. No doubt this dude will be making some serious coin with his lawsuit.   Overbooking is a practice that is fairly common in certain industries. Hotels, car rental and of course airlines always overbook to maximize their profits and customers are the ones who end up paying. Chip and Cern both agree that when companies are in the wrong, as they are in this case, they should make it right. If Comcast or DirectTV fuck up your internet or TV you get a refund and the customer doesn’t have to eat that cost of their mistake.    A few days after this event the Daily Mail UK, which is a rag mag of sorts, dug into the background and claiming that he has a criminal background and traded pain pills for gay sex.    There are some people that take the stance of he just should have left when he was told.    Chip is flying United in the coming weeks, despite them being the shittest airline ever, and he might being a hockey mask to wear just in case he gets bumped.    United has already updated their policy on displacing customers as of April 14th.   United has had a rough go of it the last few months. The rain is leaving, the drought is over in California and that only means one thing. Summer movies are coming. Chip and Cern pick their top movies to see this summer and give a little preview for the upcoming Justice League and Star Wars movies.    As parents Chip and Cern don’t get much time to go to the theaters let alone catching all the hot summer movies. Stat Boy Dana’s Bachelor Party was a few weeks ago and Chip and Cern revisit the event. If you missed the Getting Older, Random, Elephant Penis show where Chip and Cern talked about their plans to prank Joe at the bachelor party be sure to give that one a listen.   Chip went to Cern’s house the night before the party and they got to drinking a few beers, did a podcast or two and didn’t really get all rested up for the big weekend. They both awoke Saturday morning with a hangover before the party even started.   Tee time was 9:40am on Saturday morning. Joe is very by the book when it comes to golf and wanted Chip and Cern to be there 30 minutes before the tee off. Chip and Cern didn’t listen to that advice and got themselves a nice bagel, some iced coffee and a few waters. Joe then called Cern to get some trash bags because the Bachelor Party group had already been marked and spotted the giant cooler Joe was going to put into his cart.   Dana’s cousin joined us for the golf round. He doesn’t deserve to be stuck with the likes of Chip and Cern. Brad also joined the group and he didn’t even golf, but he drove around the cart dropping off beers and spotting balls.   Joe can really put the hex on Cern’s golf game. He is always around with a sniper joke for Cern when he hits it in the drink.   When everyone gets to Hole 10, there is a water feature right behind and Cern is to tee off. Joe makes a comment about Cern putting it in the drink. Cern tees off and hits a worm burner 2 inches off the ground, which then hits the mowing strip and it bounced backed to the group who all hit the deck and the ball landed right in the drink.   Chip and Cern were going to play the same prank as they did at Cern’s birthday party. Hole 17 Chip and Cern move to attack on Joe’s bag. Dana was sitting in the cart and it was his party, so he was spared. When leaving hole 17 Joe’s bag was now a yard sale on the cart path. He wasn’t pleased, but everyone had a good laugh at Joe’s expense.   After driving off of the 18th, Chip pushed the luck and when back to back on Joe’s bag. It was down hill, so his cart got more speed going down hill.   After golf the group split up to just Dana, Brad, Chip and Cern. Everyone was starving, so everyone went to grab sushi. After watching some March Madness in the room, farting and general gross dude stuff the group walked to the local Whole Foods which featured a outdoor beer garden.   Everyone was having a great time at Whole Foods. Drinking some nice craft beers and busting balls all around. After a few hours Joe is done with the wedding and was headed back. There had been an inside joke about finding a Taphouse.   The theme for the weekend was just constant and relentless jabs, roasting and beating.   When Joe arrived there was hours of inside jokes and material that he wasn’t privy too. The moment he sat down the laughter started when Brad dropped “nice prison pussy Joe” referring to Joe’s goatee.   Everyone was texting Joe to pick everyone up, but he drove to the wrong place because of the Taproom text which was intended to troll Dana. Joe said when he was driving up he wanted to plow his car through the building to run everyone over when he saw us laughing there.   Everyone went back to the room and started on some more beers, when Tony joined and of course brought more beers.   Everyone got to the casino around 11pm. Chip and Cern aren’t big gamblers, so they were going to play $100 and that would be it for the night. Joe, Dana, Brad and Tony took of in the casino to hit the tables. Chip and Cern went for more beers and sat down at the slots and started a Marco Polo chat with Chip’s wife who wanted some action on the slots.   After a hour or two Chip and Cern take off to relocate the rest of the party and Chip spotted a $5 minimum blackjack table. Cern was on Chip’s shoulder helping him play and just adding in the silliness. Chip had already been at the table for 2 hours with the same $50 bucks he started with. Many people at the table with Chip were complaining about how loud it was. Chip had been at the table for nearly 3 hours now and Cern, Joe and Brad joined the table. Joe and Brad were out of funds, so Chip threw them $15 each to play so everyone could hangout and have fun together.   Joe and Brad’s luck turned and they were growing stacks with the $15. Joe started playing the “Lucky Lucky” bet which Chip usually calls a sucker’s bet. Joe hit one for $400 and that caught Chip’s attention real quick. Everyone was having a lot of fun and someone said “you ready to go” to Chip and he looked at his watch and it was nearly 4am.  Everyone packed up and rolled back to the casino. Joe gave Chip about $700 from his winnings and Brad had close to $200 for Chip. Chip paid out Joe and Brad for their help. On the way out of the casino Chip remembered he had to play the rest of the money his wife wanted and he hit $40 on a $1 bet and that was the end of the casino time for the group.   Everyone rolled back to the hotel at 4:30am and more grab ass took place in the wee hours of the morning, mostly driven by Chip’s drunkenness.   Sunday morning came and the group needed to get to Sacramento for some March Madness and of course some hair of the dog at an Irish bar playing some darts. The game was fun and everyone enjoyed themselves. This episode got sideways quick. Many topics covered and none of them related. From drinking beer,  to drunken stories of youth, Cern’s 30th birthday party, to getting older, and finally ending up with the biggest penis sizes in the animal kingdom. Strap in folks cause this one is a doozie.    Chip has noticed that Target is making a play towards the craft beer area and Chip snagged some New Belgium Dayblazer Easy Going Ale in preparation for a weekend of boozing, golf, boozing and more general slap dickery with the likes of Joe, Dana, Cern, Tony and a few other misfits.    When Chip and Cern first started drinking they were big into the Fat Tire and really didn’t like IPAs. They also went through a Guinness phase, then a hard liquor phase where martinis, gin and tonics and now to IPAs.   If Cern had his pick, money is no object, would have some 21st Amendment Brew Free or DIE. Chip more drinks to the season, occasion or meal.    For Cern’s 30th birthday there was some golfing. Chip and Cern don’t golf, but once a year. Two weekends back to back golfing is a rare feat for Chip and Cern lately. When you tee off at 9am, you start drinking early, so you can’t hit the hard stuff early. This is the reason for Chip getting the Dayblazer beer from Target. The day was amazing for golf just over 70 degrees, combined with day drinking, no real food didn’t bode well for a mid-day podcast. After golf everyone hit the club house for a round of beers. Cern’s work friends were there, so one round turned to two and that really sunk  the podcast hopes.   Now onto day drinking talk. When Chip, Cern, Tony and Chip’s wife would go to noon Giants game they would start drinking at like 10am and then hit the bars after. Chip never thinks he was good at day drinking.    Moves onto some bachelor party prep. Stay Boy Dana is getting hitched in a few weeks, so there was some party planning and talk of Vegas. Chip’s last bachelor party was in Scottsdale for Spring Training.    The plan for Dana’s Bachelor Party is golf in the morning, watching some March Madness, lunch/dinner, then to hit the casino for some gambling.    Now that they are getting older Chip is complaining about being sore from golf and gaining weight from drinking booze.    Be sure to throw a rating on the Chip and Cern Show on iTunes to help us out!    Now some drinking stories of yesteryear pop up. Tony’s 22nd birthday, during the Guinness phase of Chip and Cern. They went out to “only have a couple” of beers and you know how that story goes. Started at 6p we got booted out of the bar at last call. Then a drunken stopper to Mel’s, booting into urinals and a crazy cab ride, ending up with pushing Cern back to Chip’s house in a homeless person’s shopping cart.    Now the talk goes back to Dana’s bachelor party plans. March Madness viewing which will be very exciting since Chip and Cern don’t watch much basketball.    Now Chip and Cern are trying to remember the story of why Chip was pushing Cern home in the shopping cart.    Next Chip and Cern discuss Cern’s 30th birthday pranks that were pulled on Joe and Dana. Then there is some speculation and planning on who will “got got” for Dana’s bachelor party round of golf. Should Chip and Cern make Joe an ally? Should they all gang up on Tony? The World Baseball Classic is nearing the finals and this has Chip and Cern excited.    According to Wikipedia, "The World Baseball Classic (WBC) is an international baseball tournament sanctioned from 2006 to 2013 by the International Baseball Federation (IBAF) and after 2013 by the World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC). It was proposed to the IBAF by Major League Baseball (MLB), the Major League Baseball Players Association (MLBPA), and other professional baseball leagues and their players associations around the world. It is the main baseball tournament sanctioned by the WBSC, which grants to the winner the title of "World Champion".   Both Chip and Cern were pissed when baseball was cut from the Olympic sports which is where the WBC idea came from.    Japan won the first two WBC titles, and the USA has not even made the final game.   Cern likes the WBC, but doesn’t get too hyped about it. It feeds his need for early season baseball.   Both Chip and Cern like that the players can play with their chosen country even if they weren’t born there.

  Quickly Chip and Cern get pulled into a stat worm hole whilst looking for Dontelle Willis’ stats.    Cern has a grudge against Michael Saunders because he hit a grand slam when Cern had him beached on his fantasy baseball team.   Jose Reyes did have a domestic incident against him which caused him to be suspended for a few games last season. This incident took place in Hawaii, so Chip and Cern thought this would be caused by him looking for some “Maui Beaver” and was caught by his wife.    Chip and Cern played with someone in high school who was on the Israel World Baseball Classic team.    Chip and Cern dig deep into Chinese Taipei team, what country it actually is and they just get more and more confused.    Looking through teams rosters to see what players they knew. Some teams had nobody knew.   Japan and Puerto Rico are undefeated and looking very strong there.    Both Chip and Cern think that the USA team doesn’t have the same sense of pride that the other teams seem to have. Pokemon Go just had their biggest release since the game started. Generation 2 is out in the wild! 80 new Pokemon from the John Region. If you missed any other Pokemon Go episodes check those out here: Pokemon Go, V2, and V3.   Chip and Cern’s time spend playing had dwindled to only a few minutes a day to get the streak rewards then not really do anything else. Catching the same old Pokemon and inaccurate egg hatching were the root cause.    Here is a list of all Genres 2 Pokemon that you can now catch.    Cern is big on the gym battles, so he is always looking for the best match up.   Niantic would announce these special events during holidays like Halloween, Thanksgiving and Valentine’s Day. The Halloween event was by far the best one according to Chip and Cern.   When Gen 2 was released it brought Chip and Cern excitement that they had during the original release. Cern’s brother was in class and couldn’t act on the release straight away.    The eggs have shifted, so here is the updated Pokemon Hatch list.    Chip and Cern are frustrated with some of the Pokemon that are in the eggs. Walking and hatching an egg shouldn’t hatch you a “Garbage Mon” that you catch all the time and at anytime.    Since Chip and Cern aren’t super well versed on the Gen 2 Pokemon they have found a few solid articles that helped know what different Pokemon are common and which ones are rare.    All in all Chip and Cern say that Gen 2 release is a hit. It reenergized the game which was getting tired. There is a few features or bugs that would be great to have fixed, but the game is solid.    Stat Boi Dana isn’t impressed by the update and has uninstalled the game.   Joe has been pulled back in a little bit, but might need to be enticed to make the jump back in.    Chip and Cern speculate about what the Easter Event might bring. Cern thinks giant eggs with the “legendary birds” would be really cool and Chip agrees.    Chip has spun 7445 Pokestops and Cern has spun 4472.   Chip caught 4008 Pokemon and Cern captured 4078.    Chip has hatched 276 eggs and Cern has hatched 141 eggs.    Chip has jogged 700km and Cern 471km.    Cern has won about 4x the amount of battles that Chip has won.    Are you back playing Pokemon?  Let us know of Twitter, FB or our newest platform, Instagram.    The collaboration with Elemental Supply Co is now live!
