Like many of my female guests, Tammie knew early on that she wanted to be a cop when it wasn't a popular notion for women to pursue that career field. Not only did she become a cop, but she rocked it and was able to do a lot of really cool assignments along the way.

She earned her promotion, leading many units involved in specialized investigations over the years.

She's known for having ZERO filter, but that is one of those quirks many loved about her... I know you'll enjoy the episode, let's get to it!

No, your eyes aren't crossed, you're not seeing double... Gerry came back to finish the stories from his career and we had just as much fun the second go around as we had in the first a few week ago.

Tune in, have your cold drink nearby and let me know what you think once your stomach has stopped hurting from the laughter...

Thanks, again, for checking in and getting to know my guests on the show. We'll see ya'll next week, be safe out there!

50!!!!!

Here's an interview that I've wanted to do for a long time! Matt and I met when he walked in the door, but I didn't want to let him leave until he felt he had shared all the stories he could think of. This episode is just one of many that reaffirm my mission with the podcast and why I have such urgency in catching up with some of my guests.

Matt had a phenomenal career, and his candid conversation about his battles with Type 1 diabetes, Cancer and PTSD quickly made this episode a favorite of mine.

I think you all are going to enjoy it and he will become a Squad Favorite for you as well. Check him out, join us Facebook and Instagram (CP_SFAF) and please... weigh in and share your feedback. Please give the warmest Choir Practice Squad welcome to Matt Lynn.

Thank you all and be safe out there!

Gerry Diaz is a retired Detective who spent over 20 years with the Tucson Police Department. He worked Patrol, Undercover, Task Forces, Gangs, Child Crimes... He's a character and we had a great time. He is coming back soon and we're going to finish "The rest of the story" but this episode rocks and we had a good time.

Give him a warm welcome to The Squad, grab a comfortable chair and an ice cold drink! Enjoy, be safe out there!

Al and I worked with one another in Internal Affairs, the training academy and several other details across the span of 20 years! For a man with 2 careers, Al spent some quality time with his hobbies, officiating sports and Jui Jitsu!

We spoke about "razzing" him while behind the plate of a AAA baseball game, he reffed basketball, football and now MMA! He had two great careers and I hope you all enjoy getting to know Al as much as it was pleasure for me to work with him.

He's a good man, a great cop and a mediocre referee! Just kidding, give him a warm welcome and please, be safe out there!

Good morning and Happy "New Episode" Wednesday! I'm honored to introduce Rich. He was recommended to me by Rick Pearson because he spent a huge part of his 23 year career in undercover or some other type of investigative detail.

We had a great time getting to know each other and I think you're going to enjoy getting to know him as well. Welcome him to The Squad and enjoy the show.

Thanks for listening and joining us in "Season Two." Be safe out there!

There is so much packed in this episode that Ben is going to need a "part 2!" He was in homicide 16 years, many of his cases made it to cable TV True Crime shows, including the DC snipers- who committed a murder right here in the Old Pueblo. Please enjoy just a fraction of his career and keep yours eyes open for when he returns. We had a good time, I think you'll enjoy getting to know "Benny" as much as I did!

Join us, enjoy the show and remember to be safe out there.

Mike and I only worked together briefly, but he's an individual who makes an impression on you. Everyone I know has the same opinion, a good ma and a great officer. So he definitely did something right in his career!

I'm honored he chose to hang out with me and I'm grateful to his wife, Polly- who also dutifully served the police department as a civilian, for sparing him a few hours to share his tremendous career with the Choir Practice Squad.

Look at the Choir Practice Facebook or Insta pages to catch a glimpse of his mustache and a few of his K9 partners over the years.

Having Jim on the show was a blast from the past. He's still the funny guy I met when he was my Academy Class Sergeant in 1998!

He retired after 26 years on the department and, in Sept 2021, started his own RV Repair business after becoming a Certified Technician. His business is Code 3 Mobile RV Repair, find him on Facebook under "Code 3 Mobile RV" or at [email protected].

So now sit back and relax, enjoy this episode of Choir Practice and let's give a warm welcome to "The Squad." Be safe out there!
