Chrissy shares that she felt accepted and supported when she joined a running group, which motivated her to keep running. She recalls her first experiences with running groups, feeling lost and left behind. Chrissy started running during her college years to join the soccer team and discovered her love for running.
Chrissy's main lessons from running are the power of consistency, the importance of grace and self-compassion when not consistent, and the value of taking rest days. Allison compliments Chrissy on her yoga instruction and how it has helped her feel better and improve her body's mobility. Although they have different paces, they still enjoy running as buddies.
Chrissy's approach to life is thinking long-term and making intentional decisions based on what she would be glad about when she's older. The concept of building consistency, whether in running or life choices, is something she values deeply.
