A few weeks ago we had Billy Saylers on the show (episode 264) winner of seasson 7 of Forged in Fire. In that episode he shared about his son Joseph (also known as JoJo) and his story and his experience on Forged in Fire season 9. Billy and JoJo are the only father/son team to win Forged in Fire.

JoJo has a great story of how he is using his blacksmithing skills to spread the gosepl and to do missionary work in Guatamala and beyond. This episode is filled with his life story of how making knives, axes, hatchets and swords are helping him to share the gospel with folks.

Why are we prideful? Why do men think its week to be humble? Today we discuss the pitfall of being prideful and how God's word warns us about being prideful. Today we learn fromMproverbs, 16:18 "pride comes before destruction..."

so many men have a hard time forgiving themselves for past mistakes. but hear me here...

"you are not defined by your worst decision." Proverbs tell us that we are his and that humility comes before honor. We are to humble ourselves before God and one another if we are to enter into a whole relationship with our God.

"The heart of a man plans his way, but the Lord establishes his steps."

Sitting in my deer stand in SE Kansas got me reflecting on how great God is and how so many of us feel alone adn isolated at times. In reading my bible, I read again Psalm 100 and those words reminded me that we are never alone, but that we are His. Regardless of what you are going through, remember you are HIS and his love is greater than anything that can come against you.
