Christian Outdoors Podcast

In my world as an outdoor writer I have the ability to preview a lot of new products, and to see some of the new innovations that are on the horizon. I am constantly amazed at how people create ways to make a hole. The Archery Trade Association annual show is one place where you will witness dozens of new broadhead designs every year.

It seems that there is always someone who thinks they can create a better broadhead. One that flies better, cutted better, and tunes easier. I've seen broadheads that were diminituve in size barely bigger than the arrow itself, and some that looked like a hubcap flying through the air. And every one of these folks believed theirs was the best ever designed.

Today, we have on the show the founders of a new broadhead company, TouLou broadheads has designed a single bevel broadhead with a twist...literally, and the design allows the arrow to fly straight and flatter due to the tip driving the rotation of the arrow verses the feathers.

More than this, Trevor and Jake share their stories of faith and personal transformation that is surre to inspire you.

What is the greatest threat to deer hunting in America? Is it dropping participation? Could it be lack of accessible land? Perhaps it is the anti-gun movement or the anti-hunting factions? Division among hunters themselves?

All of this is discussed in this show before we reveal what Steve Shea and I feel is THE greatest threat to deer hunting today. The answer may surprise you, or you may already suspect the answer to the question. Either way, this show is enlightening and informative. Along the way, Steve shares his faith and why it is important to him and his family.

In a world of brokeness, being whole is hard. In many cases it may even seem impossible. But today we share how to become whole through a life of holiness.

being holy isn't reserved for saints, our pursuit for holiness should be at the forefront of our life as Christians. The pursuit alone is worthy, the efforts, the desire to be more like Christ leads us to a holy life.

Holy does not mean being perfect, it is wrapped up in the pursuit and effort to become holy. We are not made to pursue happiness, rather we are made to pursue holiness. When we do this, we become whole.
