A pivot is a change of direction. You can see this in basketball when a player plants a pivot foot; it allows them to shift in a different direction. In business, a pivot is going from one business model to another or from one product to another. In all of our callings, we will have pivots; we will have changes in direction. When God gives us a change in direction, He's not pivoting in the sense that He made a mistake about what He wanted us to do before. His change in direction is actually nudging us closer to where He wants us right now.

Real faith is doubtless because even a little bit of doubt means it's not truly faith anymore. What we have to do is train ourselves to have real faith and address the doubts that we have.

Recently, there's been some controversy online about what happened after Jesus' death on the cross. Although the debate has resurfaced recently, it's actually an old controversy. There's nothing new about it.

There are competing theories about what happened to Jesus after His death:

• Some people believe Jesus went straight to Heaven.
• Some people believe Jesus went to Hell.
• Some people believe Jesus went to Hell and also had to suffer and be tormented there.

Pastor Amos shared his testing of Mighty Network's AI chat feature for email distribution and questioned whether the platform helps or hurts CFE's mission of creating a global community. The discussion then shifted to a theological debate about Jesus's experience in hell, with participants expressing different views on whether Jesus experienced torment or went there victorious. Several members, including Stephanie and Rowena, expressed frustration with theological disagreements and questioned the importance of detailed doctrinal debates. Deborah shared her concerns about the dilution of Christian holiness in modern teaching and suggested focusing more on practical business applications of scripture within the community. The conversation ended with personal updates, including a prayer request from Vernon and his wife about their niece's pregnancy and potential clubfoot condition, and Pastor Amos reminded the community about the importance of partnership support for the ministry.

Whatever God is calling you to do in entrepreneurship, He does not want you to play it safe. Playing it safe means avoiding risk because you are afraid of losing something. But if your plan guarantees that you cannot lose, it also prevents you from winning. Following God's entrepreneurial calling requires you to go after it wholeheartedly, even when something is at risk. Faith does not eliminate risk. It gives you the courage to obey God despite the risk. You cannot fully pursue what God has called you to do while always choosing the safest path.

Discrimination has a bad rap, and rightly so, because it has been used to withhold resources from one group in favor of another. However, when it comes to the entrepreneurial vision God has placed in your heart, discrimination is a good thing. It means knowing the specific demographic God has called you to serve and focusing exclusively on meeting their needs. Without discrimination, you'll be off calling. Your vision will drift, and you won't be successful in what God has called you to do.

Acts 5:42 shows the apostles sharing their message daily, both publicly in the temple courts and personally from house to house. That is a powerful model for business today. Use public platforms like social media and personal channels like email and DMs to consistently reach the people God has called you to serve. Marketing should not be occasional. Show up every day.

Many married couples believe they serve their spouse, but sometimes serving becomes scorekeeping: "I did this for you, so what will you do for me?" Jesus gives us a different example in Mark 10:45. He came not to be served, but to serve. Servanthood in marriage means developing a willing heart that asks, even when it costs you something, "How can I serve you today?" Jesus taught that marriage requires maturity and that not everyone is mature enough for married life. One sign of maturity is being prepared to have and nurture children. When God created marriage, He commanded Adam and his wife to be fruitful and multiply. Thus, one of the main goals of godly marriage is to have children. Although some marriages do not produce children, if you are considering marriage, you need to be prepared for the possibility of having children and ready to raise them in the admonition of the Lord.

Jesus gives us a powerful example of how to approach marketing with intentionality and persistence. He went throughout Galilee preaching, teaching, and healing, consistently taking His message to the people He was called to serve. As entrepreneurs, we should have that same commitment to reaching the people we are called to serve. Are you consistently sharing your message wherever your target audience is, or are you marketing halfheartedly and expecting God to make up the difference? If God has called you to business, part of your responsibility is to persistently market, create content, and share your message with the people you are called to reach.
