It's WrestleMania season! And although WrestleMania is going to be a bit weird this year thanks to the coronavirus, we're still celebrating the season with a look at a double feature of wrestling-centric cult flicks!

This week, we're taking a look at the first film to be produced by the World Wrestling Federation and one that feature's Hulk Hogan in his first lead role, 1989's NO HOLDS BARRED!

Three and a half decades after the release of MAD MAX, director George Miller returned to the franchise that put him on the map with MAD MAX: FURY ROAD.

This time around, Tom Hardy steps into the role of Max, replacing original star Mel Gibson, in a film that many called one of the greatest action films of all time, one of the greatest films of 2015 and one of the greatest films of the 2010s. Welcome to Phase 2 of the Psychotronic Film Society Podcast!

We've been teasing this for the last two weeks, but with this episode, and going forward, we're renewing our focus on Psychotronic films and on the books that inspired this podcast to begin with, The Psychotronic Encyclopedia of Film and The Psychotronic Video Guide by Michael J. Weldon.

Over the course of doing this podcast, we've started to realize that many film fans are not familiar with Mr. Weldon or his writing, so we thought the proper way to launch this new phase of the podcast would be to give a little background on our inspiration, so we're dedicating this entire episode to Weldon's work and his legacy.
