Smile 2 is the sequel to horror smash.

CitizenFrame was not a fan of it for it lacked tension, scares and way too many down times.

Was not looking forward to this..

Very few sequels get it right by not fixing the issues that plagued the first one. Smile 2 is by far what the Godfather 2 is to its big brother…. superior

The Substance is something that shouldn't appeal to me..but it does.

Why?

Body horror is not something I appreciate and in fact avoid. However, if in the right hands can it be more about someone's journey rather than the gore effect.

Well as you all know I'm not a fan of this elevated horror. I feel the filmmakers and their audience feel that these types of films are smarter than they actually are. 

Most importantly (no fault to the filmmakers) the sub genre, Elevated Horror comes off as derogatory to other horror films and other sub genres in it. 

However, you give me a killer demon goat named Philip! You might win me over.

20024 Salem's Lot has been benched by Warner Brothers for a few years during their restructuring. 

This was not the film's fault.

This film has not much to say but boy does it say a lot. Trust me, Ii believe that makes sense. 

This film has a hairband, steampunk, Romero esq quality that certainly doesn't let up.
