The two get to know each other better during their conversation, which goes from Rachel’s upbringing in a small town in Canada, and how she dealt with her father getting hospitalized when she was just a young girl, and his eventual passing when Rachel was 16. They also talk about her educational path which had her on local TV when she was in high school, and the story of how she nearly ended up at ESPN instead of Fox Sports, where she is today.
