Clive started off the week by taking a look at the issue of construction workers having their work ripped off. Friends of the show James Naughton, Apprentice of the Year 2019 Luke Neville and Danny Madden shared their stories on this topic.
He then focused on strange/shocking things found onsite. This is after the recent discovery of two unexploded WW2 bombs found by builders on a job in Herne Hill.
Then he took a look at Men's health in conjunction with Men's Health Week. We spoke in depth with Dr Jeff Foster - GP specialising in Men's Health, Bill Hill CEO of the construction industry charity the Lighthouse Club. And friend of the show, carpenter Liam McGinley shared a story that changed his life.
And to finish off proceedings, he took a look at construction workers being paid in anything and everything else other than money. Apparently 70% of tradespeople have been propositioned at one stage or another. We spoke to the UK's Small Business Commissioner Liz Barclay, Dave Finnegan from Elwood Enterprises and carpenter Oli Lee from @withbearhandsuk.
