    I have always hated birthdays and would always look for opportunities to avoid them entirely going as far as ghosting people on my day just so I don't get the usual happy birthday text or people walking up to me to celebrate. However on my 25th birthday, I already made plans to ghost as usual but knew it was not going to be a complete success as I had classes that day not knowing my friends had plans for me. They had always complained about me celebrating them but refusing to be celebrated so this time they secretly plotted something different.
    It took quite some time but eventually I was able to realize the reason why I hated birthdays so much so stick around and find out

    Good Hivers, welcome another edition of Hive music community I remain my humble self @coderaikiri and my entry for this week is a song super close to heart - Take a bow by the favorite artist of my immediate elder sister the pop icon Rihanna.

    My immediate elder sibling transition from too many artists when I was a kid. First it was Celine Dion, next Shakira's hips don't lie became her anthem after that it was Beyonce until she finally settled for Rihanna. As a youngster with limited options because I considered the baby and had to go on board with whatever they had on, I was either stuck with the choices of listening to whatever the wanted, sleeping or going outside to play. I hated sleeping especially at noon, I was not always allowed to go outside so I was stuck with listening to their preferences whether I liked it or not.
    At first I hated those songs referring to them as to girlie for my masculinity but withy time I found myself singing along even going as far as enjoying it and becoming a fan.
    Take a bow is a song about breaking up with a partner who is not committed to the relationship. Sometimes one just finds themselves giving it their 100% and investing completely into a relationship were the significant shows no effort other than lies, unseriousness and even worse cheating. This song just signifies standing up for yourself and getting rid of such toxicity to embrace your true self and what lays ahead. I hope you guys listen and enjoy

    Greetings mi familia, welcome to the 274th week of Hive Open Mic, I am @coderaikiri and fit my entry I'll be presenting a song titled when we were young.

    Now I know this song might not even feel like it has anything to do with the theme of the week Mermaid but if you look deeper than just the surface, there are similarities. First of when we were is song that explains the love life of two people who have grown apart largely to the fact of getting older and so they both acted rashly. However one of the lover is still hoping they can re-ignite the old flame or at least she's reminiscing about the past.
    If you've watched the cartoon mermaids you'll see that Ariel a mermaid fell in love with a human prince and longed to be part of his world even when the odds looked like it was impossible, if you try relating that cartoon and this song you'll see that they both have a lot in common.
    When we were young is not just a song about love lost, it is young about making mistakes, hoping for something better and wishing to make amends. Adele truly captured the essence of young love and I hope y'all like it.

Both of them have been beefing for roughly over a year so when an EP dropped last year after Ruger left Jonzing world record label nobody expected something from them and I guess that was the songs on the EP blow up all of the country.

    Hello everyone this is the Gems community, I am @coderaikiri and I want to share something with you all.

    A few years back, I was really struggling with low self esteem and anxiety issues. Every single day I would wake up to the feeling of always being insufficient and no matter what I did I always felt I wasn't good enough. To make matters worse I hated my own looks so I took time avoiding mirrors and reflective surfaces just so my own face doesn't stare back at me.
    All this kept me down for quite some time until I discovered the artist juice wrld and he also talked about going through similar problems. I completely clicked with his song and slowly I was able to overcome my problems with every decision I made to not let it control. Fighting demons is a song dedicated to fighting your shortcomings. It is a part of the legends never die album released after the death of the artiste. And although he is no longer with us, his work will always be a big part of my life.

    Hello everyone, welcome to another week of throwback Thursday. For this edition I'll taking y'all down memory lane to an unforgettable period as a student. The raining season has always been my best since I was a kid and I carried that very mentality with me up till this very moment. However as a student in Federal University of lafia the rain was not always the enjoyable weather I enjoyed back at home. People always complained about how the rain led to floods which even destroyed homes and properties which was largely due to the fact that the sewage and canals were not done right.

    I have always heard people complain about such terrible encounters but not on a personal level until it finally happened to me during a time I was already one foot out of the school environment.

    It was not a good experience and I don't wish such to happen to anybody. I was still able to pick myself together and fix the mess that came with destruction however for the rest of my stay in school, I lived in fear of the unknown thinking something way worse might happen. Thank God it didn't.

    The theme for the week is fireworks and to that I believe this song represents that very well due to its upbeat nature. Fireworks are predominantly used during celebration and festive periods and if you listen closely to the song it is very easy to trace the excitement in the tone of the song.
    The song holds a lot of important memories to me as my love for this group was born from elder sister who worked as a sales rep at a movie rental store back in the early 2000s. She would always bring back CDs of music, movies and anything she deems watchable back home. She was a huge fan of the blues genre and so that rubbed off on me as I had no choice but to watch what I see.

Ckay's sweet melodic contribution on just the second verse alone was enough to make you if he was just the feature but Ayra came harder on the third. The song is truly good because I remember keeping it on playing it on repeat for weeks it was even the very song I used to wooo my girl when we were having issues and since then it became our signature anthem.
    What is the song all about? Well it centers around lovers trying to convince the significant others that they are enough and they should leave. Like the name implies it even goes beyond just convincing even moving up to stylishly begging for as the relationship is just to let their partners leave.
