Hey Healthy Habits fam! My guest today is the amazing Jess Glazer! Jess is a full time entrepreneur (business coach), CEO, speaker, philanthropist, and former celebrity personal trainer based in NYC. Her mission is to cause a ripple effect and inspire change for generations to come; making a massive impact and leaving a lasting legacy beyond her singular actions.
If there’s one thing Jess Glazer has done a lot of, it’s pivoting. She has gone from personal training, to making and selling her own fashion accessories, to teaching, to diving right into the online space as an entrepreneur, and has gone to school for kinesiology, teaching, physical therapy, AND fashion (what a range!).
In this episode, we are going to talk about pivoting: the challenges that arise when pivoting, the importance of having a coach, Jess’s business tips and social media strategies, and more. Sometimes pivoting can be scary, but what if we just scrap the word, “pivot” and replace it with “growth”? We are always growing, evolving, learning new things, and changing our interests, so let’s reimagine pivoting and the fear that comes with it to growth instead.
Here are a few key takeaways from the episode:
+ Ask for help: Put your ego aside and don’t be afraid to ask for help. You will never feel ready, but you have to do it anyway. Invest in a coach, and make sure that coach has a coach too.
+ Challenges to overcome when pivoting: financial (maybe leaving your job or job trajectory might seem crazy), fear of being judged by others, Imposter Syndrome, feeling like a failure or quitter, or feeling like your time in previous schooling or jobs was wasted. There is a difference between quitting and pivoting, and know that all your experiences shape you and the dots will connect.
+ Finding common threads: what do you do if you want to have two separate businesses, like business coaching AND fitness coaching? Find the common thread!
+ Ask yourself the why: before you do anything just because someone else is, ask yourself: does it really feel aligned? Does it excite you? What is the customer journey you want your clients to have?

Hey Healthy Habits fam! My guest today is Andy Ortega, a Solutions Consultant for Kajabi. Andy and I used to work together at Kajabi, and today, we’re going to dive DEEP into why Kajabi is so great and why it’s truly my favorite platform.
What is Kajabi? Founded about 10 years ago, Kajabi is an all-in-one platform for online courses, marketing, blogging, web design, and so much more… but a lot of people still haven’t heard of it. What can you do with Kajabi? You can create online courses, market those courses, build a website, build an email list all in one place without the need for third-party products.
The beauty of Kajabi is that it centralizes everything you could need to run an online business. Instead of needing multiple platforms (one for your website, one for your email list, one for your course, and so on and so forth), Kajabi includes all these tools in one place, saves you money, saves you time, and the possibilities are endless.
Here’s a few key takeaways from the episode:
+ The basics of Kajabi: what it is, how you can use it
+ How does Kajabi measure up? Comparing Kajabi with other platforms like Wordpress, Squarespace, Wix, ClickFunnels, and more
+ How to get started on Kajabi: the onboarding process, how the support staff can help you, and Andy’s best advice
+ Kajabi FAQs: your questions answered!
What do you think? Are you ready to take the plunge into Kajabi?

Hey Healthy Habits Fam! My guest this week is a client of mine: Jordan Cheyenne! Jordan is a social media coach, primarily focusing on helping her clients organically grow their audience and land paying clients utilizing instagram (without using paid ads!). Jordan has grown her own social media following to about 500k subscribers on YouTube and 100k followers on Instagram.
Jordan was taught from a young age that she had to work hard in order to earn the things that she wanted. After working herself through college with multiple retail jobs, she started her YouTube channel, but it took 6 years for her channel to grow. As she started her entrepreneur journey, it took her many years for her to achieve the success she has today.
In this episode, Jordan will share her entrepreneur journey, her suggestions on how to make money online (especially in the COVID-19 climate), her social media advice and so much more!
Here’s a few key takeaways from the episode:
+ People buy into people, not things. Once you’ve made an emotional connection with an audience member or ideal client, that’s when they’re going to buy from you.Your instagram profile should have an emotional connection statement line--something you can be transparent and vulnerable with to share with others.
+ You have 5 seconds to make an impression: who you are, what you do, and how you can serve them. Figure out your ideal client, what they need help with, and what they can afford. You have to have different offers at different price points.
+ There are so many ways to make money online. Whether using an affiliate link, shopping online, or figuring out your strengths and using them on things like Fiverr or Upwork, there are so many ways to make money online.
+ How to handle the haters. Don’t be afraid to block and mute, and don’t concern yourself with the people who don’t support you or what you offer.

Hey Healthy Habits fam! This week is all about email marketing. My guest is Dani Stratmann, a Marketing Coach and Email Marketing Consultant for online coaches and service-based providers. Dani has been building email marketing and sales funnels for various companies for the last five years. She is passionate about helping online entrepreneurs simplify their marketing and sales strategy for maximum profit.
Dani fell in love with marketing in high school, and so when she went to college, she majored in marketing and management. After graduating, she immediately got into sales before getting her first corporate marketing opportunity. Having both sales and marketing experience gives her an advantage in the field. Dani then decided to transition into the entrepreneur sphere, and became a marketing/sales coach.
Most people love what they do but they don’t know how to market their business. They are passionate about the services they offer, but are frustrated when their business doesn’t take off. That’s where Dani comes in.
In this episode, Dani will teach you the nitty gritty of email marketing, how you can get started today, and how to build your credibility and authority in your field. Some people think email is dead, but according to Dani, email and social media are part of a 360 degree marketing strategy where you can truly reach your customers in multiple areas.

Hey guys! Bear with me on this episode, because I recorded it on my iphone because my microphone wasn’t working! And then I spilled water on my computer! All while battling a cold. They say bad things come in threes, right?
This week’s episode is about how to spot a bad trainer, business coach, or any other professional you could hire to help you improve various aspects of your life. Whether you interact with this trainer/coach in person, online, or both, I’m going to go over everything you should look for to help you identify both a good coach and a bad one, and also help guide you on the exact questions to ask when hiring one.
Remember, when hiring a trainer/coach, always ask yourself: Are they listening to you? Are they truly hearing you? Or are they just trying to make a sale?
What are some questions you ask when you hire a trainer, coach, or professional? Let me know in the review section, or send me a DM on instagram. I changed my handle, so you can find me at @courtneymarie.me!
Tune in to learn more about…
+ Paying attention to their clients: what good coaches do, and what bad coaches do
+ Why the design and structure of a workout plan MATTERS
+ Teaching proper form, technique, and educating clients about the WHY behind what they’re doing

“I don’t know what I’m doing, but I’m going to do it anyway”
As entrepreneurs, we may struggle with the overwhelming fear of failing. And while I struggle with the fear of being judged, I always had a sense deep within that no matter what, I would figure it out. I knew that I could make it happen. I knew I could make it work.
When conquering your Fear Gremlins, ask yourself this:
Why not you? Why not now? What has it cost you to not take action?

Triggered or inspired?: My take on the Super Bowl Halftime Show.
I thought it was AMAZING. I thought it was entertaining, it was fun, it was sexy, it was EMPOWERING.
And then I looked on social media and saw all the negativity. So in today’s episode, I’m going to talk about my take on the Super Bowl performances and how our reactions relate to our own lives. ⤵️
+ When something makes you uncomfortable… ask yourself why. Your reaction to something is in your control. It is our responsibility to examine why we have the thoughts we do.
+ It is important to recognize cultural differences and know that what is normal to you may not be normal to others, and vice-versa.
+ Children are like sponges. Whether you speak negatively or positively about something, chances are, your child will adopt those feelings as their own. If you don’t want their child to say that they hate their body, that they’re too fat, that they don’t want to eat vegetables because they taste bad… then you shouldn’t say those things around them either!
+ Why do we have to comment on other women’s bodies and their clothing? ESPECIALLY as women ourselves. If we as women tear other women down, that makes it okay for men to do it too. As an entrepreneur with an online business, I have that fear of judgement. I have that fear that I will put myself out there, and someone will put me down for doing my best and doing what I love. And that’s why this had me so fired up.
And you know what? You can disagree with me, and that’s okay! You don’t have to agree with everyone all the time.
Let’s work together to EMPOWER women, not tear them down.
Speaking of women at the Super Bowl… Demi Lovato tweeted 10 years ago that she wanted to sing the National Anthem at the Super Bowl someday… and the other day, SHE DID. She set her intention, and she DID IT. It took 10 years. But she did it.
+ There have been times that I have wanted to give up. But I’m coming up on year 3, and it’s happening. I’m seeing the success I dreamed of, I have financial freedom, and I’m so glad that I never gave up.
+ Know your WHY. Have the tenacity to keep going and never give up.
Stick it out. Don’t give up. Have an open mind. I promise, your future self will thank you for it.
Dream + Intention + Faith + Belief + Hard Work + Dedication + Tenacity + Skill + Passion = Fulfilling your DREAM!

“Knowledge without mileage is bullshit.”
My guest today is Kris Gethin. Kris is an internationally renowned businessman and physique transformation specialist. He is the founder of the DTP training method, the lead male spokesmodel of bodybuilding.com, as well as the director and co-founder of Gethin Gyms.
Kris was born in Wales and grew up on a farm. After being injured in motocross, he turned to weight training to help manage pain. He now resides in Boise, Idaho.
What is Biohacking? Basically, it’s “life hacks” that can improve your health, and get back to our ancestral design. How will yo-yo dieting affect us in the future as we age? In this episode, Kris discusses the importance of developing a lifestyle that will ensure our health and longevity long into the future. This lifestyle includes sleep, getting outside, meditating, spending time on and with yourself, getting a good relationship with food, “eating the rainbow,” and doing low-level activities in small increments throughout the day.
I learned so much from Kris in this episode!
