Michel Rémon, architecte, est connu pour son franc parlé. Il est surtout un homme des grandes échelles et des grands territoires, avec à son actif, d'importants projets dont la haute technicité doit être soulignée. 

Dans son interview "Com d'Archi", diffusée en deux épisodes, il raconte son parcours, évoquant par exemple, la chance qu'il a eu de bénéficier de l'accès à la commande grâce à la loi de janvier 1977. Il nous parle de ses projets, tel le Laboratoire de la Police Scientifique à Ecully, n'oubliant jamais de citer les maîtres d'ouvrages. Il évoque ses convictions d'architecte et exprime, entre autres, le regret qu'aujourd'hui, la critique architecturale ait quasiment disparu.

Tautem architecture invites us to an original visit of the Antoine de Ruffi school group in Marseille (13). They have just delivered the project in which the children made their first beginning of school year in this month of January 2021. At the end of the architects work, It was moving for them to see the children discover their new school, to see them take possession of the space they had imagined, designed, built for them during 4 years. From the beginning to the delivery, what was the choices for this so Mediterranean school?

Dans ce numéro de Com d'Archi nous recevons avec plaisir Adrian Garcin, lequel a pris récemment la tête de l'agence Montpelliéraine de ses parents : Tautem Architecture.

Après avoir grandi à Nîmes, après une formation dans l'une des meilleures écoles d'architecture au monde, après une longue et première expérience à la lumière du talent de Jacques Ferrier, Adrian nous révèle ce qui l'a décidé à reprendre le flambeau familial. Au fil de l'interview, nous prenons progressivement la mesure de cette belle filiation, puis se pose implicitement la question : comment prolonger l'oeuvre, comment affirmer sa pratique essentiellement méditerranéenne tout en se projetant dans le monde de demain? Le mieux est de le découvrir par la voix d'Adrian, racontant les projets de l'agence.

The Morland Mixité Capitale is a big and emblematic project of the Réinventer Paris I competition. The winners, David Chipperfield architects and Calq Architecture Office were selected in 2016. The end of the construction site is attended in 2021. The team is prestigious with David Chipperfield (with BRS) and Calq, but with also Olafur Eliasson (artistic concept with Studio Other Space), Michel Desvigne (landscaper), RDAI (interior architect), Encore Heureux (project house), SOCIÉTÉ PARISIENNE DU NOUVEL ARSENAL | PERL (operator) etc. 

In this Com d'Archi S2#43 Jean-Philippe Le Boeuf (Calq president) speaks about the project intentions decided by the two both main architectural offices. 

In an exceptional site, the design of the project is guided by the principles of openness, mixing, sharing, innovation, artistic influence and social responsibility. Whether rehabilitated or newly constructed, the buildings will have multiple uses: offices, housing, daycare, youth hostel, shops, hotel, swimming pool, fitness area, art space, bar and restaurant... The best by the Jean-Philippe Le Boeuf voice...

L'agence CALQ vient d'être classée au 11ème rang des agences d'architecture françaises (classement annuel publié par la revue d'A). Et pour cause, figurent à son actif beaucoup des actuelles et grandes maîtrises d'oeuvre d'exécution. Citons pour exemple le très récent et vaste projet de réhabilitation de la Poste du Louvre (35000m2) dont l'architecte mandataire est Dominique Perrault (Lagneau Architecte du Patrimoine).

Mais CALQ ne s'en tient pas là, puisqu'elle signe de sa propre conception et de son exécution, et aussi, de nombreux projets. Le projet Morland Mixité Capitale, avec le très grand David Chipperfield, symbolise à la fois la nécessité des agences d'aujourd'hui à faire alliance sur les projets d'envergure, mais aussi la capacité de CALQ à faire face aux grands défis architecturaux de notre temps.

Dans ce Com d'Archi S2#42, Jean-Philippe Le Boeuf, président et associé de CALQ, raconte son histoire et celle de son agence. Car c'est par l'amour du travail bien fait que CALQ s'est hissée dans le top 20 des agences françaises. Tous les passionnés d'architecture apprécieront ce moment inédit passé avec Jean-Philippe Le Boeuf.

The innovative Italian architecture agency IT'S has been named, as one of the winners of the Inventons la Métropole du Grand Paris II competition, with this project : Open Source Campus Project in Nanterre. 

The subject of this project is the refurbishment of the emblematic architectural Nanterre school (Jacques Kalisz and Roger Salem architects), and it's integration in the block. In this Com d'Archi S2#41, on behalf of Anne-Charlotte, Esther is reading the text of IT'S, about this amazing project, whose the construction site will start this year 2021.

Nous vous proposons une version remixée d'une émission enregistrée en 2018 dans le cadre du format natif de Com d'Archi avec Remix Radio, partenaire.

Il s'agit de l'interview de deux des trois associés de l'agence IT'S, Francesco Marinelli et Alessandro Cambi architectes. Avec leur associés Paolo Mezzalama, ils s'attachent à développer une architecture innovante en ouvrant la voie à la recherche et aux approches transdisciplinaires. Conscients que notre monde incertain bouge à grande vitesse, ils intègrent d'emblée les évolutions numériques afin d'anticiper sur les changements difficilement prévisibles.

Leur capacité à travailler au quotidien entre Rome, Paris et Genève grâce aux réseaux informatiques, semble avoir été, en quelque sorte, la préfiguration de la situation dans laquelle nous sommes aujourd'hui en 2021 avec la crise sanitaire, à savoir, devoir travailler à distance.

Dans ce Com d'Archi S2#40, ils parlent de leurs formations respectives, de leurs convictions, de leurs projets et de leur méthodologie. Le décalage de 2,5 ans entre l'enregistrement et cette rediffusion résonne comme la démonstration de leur capacité à anticiper sur l'avenir.

La version anglaise consacrée au projet de IT'S "Open Source Campus" à Nanterre est quand à elle totalement inscrite dans l'actualité de ce début de l'année 2021 puisqu'il s'agit de faire connaitre ce projet récent dont le chantier doit démarrer bientôt.
