Come Back Podcast

"My mother prayed me back. She worked in the temple for years and years and years. I know I was on that prayer list. Prayers of mothers are some of the most powerful things on this earth. God listens to mothers."

"When things don't go the way you think they should or fit in the box, it's so easy to feel like, oh I failed, or God doesn't love me, or things like that. But that is not true. Your worth does not change depending on what's happening. No matter where you're at, what choices you're making, none of those things change your worth."

"The choice to stay and the choice to keep your faith in Christ is so vital. Especially when things don't go your way or they don't make sense, it's so easy to just fall into this mindset of not believing anymore or talking yourself out of the miracles you've experienced or the prayers that have been answered and experiences you've had. That choice is just beyond powerful."

“With the Spirit you can endure anything on this earth. And I know that when we strive to live worthily and have that Spirit that everything in our lives is bearable and it’s possible. And not only is it bearable and possible, but it’s glorious, and even the very worst of those times that those trials, Heavenly Father has a plan for us.”

" My faith has been completely restored, and more than I could ever imagine. For me to be at this point in my life- where I was and where I saw where I was, it was just so crazy to me. And I always tell everybody when they ask about how I feel about me coming back- God had a plan for me just as He does for everybody. And it sucks that my plan and my path was as hard as it could have been. But ultimately, I know in my heart of hearts that He knew I would come back to church at this time and everything, and that was His plan for me."

"I feel like if we could just look around to the people in our communities and the people that that need us, it takes away like the I factor and it becomes we. And as soon as you do that, no matter where you're at in your life, whether you're a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, whether you're Catholic, whether you're agnostic- as soon as you look out to others and find a way to help people, you can't help but feel the Spirit."
