How do we know which government system is the best? Where did America’s ideals come from, and is there any guidance in Scripture for best practices? In today’s message, Pastor Mark will help answer these questions as he studies the example that was set for us by Joseph in the land of Egypt in Genesis 47. How encouraging it is to know that God is always at work in our lives, even when we don’t understand the meaning! In today’s teaching, Pastor Mark will walk listeners through the reunion between Jacob and his son, Joseph. After many years separated, what joy Jacob must have felt to see his son again! For many Christ followers, it may be easy to look back over the course of life and see God’s hand moving, even when we weren't aware. The Bible is filled with stories that speak of the Lord redeeming difficult situations. How can you put greater trust in Him today? You can rest in the truth that His ways are good! 

Have you ever heard the phrase, “It’s too good to be true?” While this is not necessarily a motto to live by, as Christ's followers we can be reminded to filter all things through our leading by the Holy Spirit. When Jacob was presented with a wonderful offer in Genesis 46, he first made sure it was of the Lord. In today’s message, Pastor Mark will encourage listeners to routinely filter their lives through God’s will. The enemy wants to distract and lure believers away from the Lord. Blessing does come with a life following after God, but it is still important to remain in tune with the Holy Spirit so that you know it is Him! 

Can we trust that God is truly orchestrating everything justly? Joseph was badly mistreated by his brothers, but ultimately, God used the situation for good. It can be easy to view the world through our eyes and make judgments about how things should and shouldn’t be. God wants us to simply trust in Him! In today’s teaching, Pastor Mark will highlight the redemption that was made between Joseph and his family, and how this set the stage for Israel moving forward. Examples like this only confirm that God’s hand is at work, even when we don’t understand the means! How can you better trust His plan today?

The feeling of guilt, or regret, can be present even in the moments when we know that we are not at fault. The consequences of sin can linger and affect our mindset. For Joseph’s brothers, who had betrayed him, they had to feel concerned when they were called to be investigated! Today, Pastor Mark will highlight this story in Genesis 44, and share how it may relate to our world today, particularly the Israel nation. We can be encouraged that even when we turn our back on the Lord, He still pursues us. Are you in a right standing before Almighty God, or do you need to seek forgiveness from Him today?

When someone is sinning, it is the believer's job to point it out and talk them through how to walk with Christ. In today’s message, Pastor Mark says that we must be loving to others by sharing the gospel with them. The world is trying to shut down the church but if we stand firm on truth, God’s love will prevail. We can have confidence because God promises that we are set apart through Him. Even though we sin, God’s love remains the same. You are accepted by the king of the universe. Next time you are scared to share the gospel, remember, that God has given you the power to share. Without you, His name won’t be spread.

When we do wrong against our parents, it can be easy to say “Man, they will never forgive me.” In today’s message, Pastor Mark says that even when we fail, God still loves us the same. He wants us to come back to Him so that He can show us what true love looks like. He wants people to run to Him constantly. Next time you do something wrong remember, God loves you. He is a forgiving and holy God worthy of praise. He died on the cross for you and me and has given us eternal life through Him. Even when you choose other things, He still pursues you because He wants a relationship with you. Trust in God today!

The saying goes “Patience is a virtue.” It can be so easy to be impatient but patience will always win out. In today’s message, Pastor Mark says that God is not rushed, He will do what He needs to do in His timing. When we look at Joseph’s life, we see that he is patient and the Lord provides everything that he needs. When we are in a hard time it can be really easy to blame God and say He isn’t doing enough. The reality is that He’s put you in that situation for a reason. He is shaping and molding you into His plan for your life. Next time you are in a hard situation remember that God has your back. He is with you always.
