Elemental Royalties listed at the and of July 2020, having been private for 3 years prior to that. They chose the TSX-V and became part of the Discovery Group of companies. Bell is a young, but intelligent CEO. He recognised that the 6 royalties that they had on listing would not be enough to thrill the market for long, so they have just consummated a deal with South32 for 3 very solid royalties at 1x NAV. So a good price. Total cost $55M. An acquisition of equals which is never easy to do and no small feat. Management are to be congratulated.

They raised some money with Sprott ($25M 2 yr debt facility, not cheap but easily refinanced soon and no doubt on better terms). And then a $12M private placement. Meaningful cashflow starts in 2021 and grows quickly from there. Impressively quick to focus on revenue which will make it easier and cheaper to raise funds in the future, once they remove the security on the Sprott debt.

With $8M in the kitty, Jessome says Silver Tiger Metals is well poised to follow up with their recent high-grade drill results in Mexico. He has a track record of building 3 large mines in Mexico with CEO of GoGold Resources, also doing well in Mexico. They have 3 drills turning and Jessome says that investors should be looking at the plan for the next 12-months. He is pleased with the results, the market hasn't reacted the same way and tax loss season sees some investors taking money off the table. Institutions are starting to look at this asset and Silver Tiger Metals now has 3 brokers providing coverage. If you like the GoGold story you might like this one, as it is 18-month behind. They have a very large land package and are starting to systematically plan how they approach it. Good team, good asset and they have cash. Let's see what 2021 brings them.

Coal investment isn't for everyone it seems, but it is nevertheless an important industrial material, not just for energy. Coking coal, met coal or steelmaking coal are all the same thing. It represents 10% of all coal sold by volume. Thermal coal has the justifiably bad reputation for polluting the air and skies in China and India.

Montem IPO'd in September following 3 years as a private company. Doyle talks us through the team (ex-Glencore - who tend to think big) and their plans to get their assets in Alberta, Canada back into production. Tent Mountain is the smaller of the two but comes with a mill and permits and can be produced in 2022. The numbers are ok, IRR 17.3% at base, pre-optimised financing and 14-year LOM extension. This will provide the cash flow for the getting the 2nd larger asset, Chinook, into production.

Their Argentinian projects have been sold and they have JV with Ethos Gold on their Ontario project and Yamana Gold on Domain Project in Manitoba. They are a high-grade explorer looking for uranium in the basement rocks without the overburden of sandstone. Funded for drilling in 2021. He is responsible for finding NexGen's Arrow Project and has been working in the Athabasca Basin for over 10 years. Not everyone is going to like his take on the reality of getting into production and points directly at some of the other players in the Basin. Forget the flashy headline of high-grades where companies are chasing veins, especially when it is less than 1m wide (because of dilution). You need to be looking at the of the ore body and the average grades. 60% of the value of this project is in Silver, the rest in Gold. The latest GoGold press releases suggest the economics of this project should be very good. With 6 drills turning, and soon to be 8 drills, expect to see many drill results coming over the next 6 months.

Peer analysis suggest this is one of the top Silver stories out there. The volume of metal per ton is hard to ignore. Open pittable, bulk tonnage with a lot of very high-grade veins too.

Great to catch up with Paterson following a well written explanatory press release "released in our honor"... Pedra Blanca is district scale project which the company is trying figure out. Cash constrained at the moment. Understanding how PGE markets work is important especially when planning how to do financial planning. PGE development and build requires a lot of capital. ValOre is going to need to bring in a strategic partner with a large balance sheet in 2021. So they need to demonstrate what they have under the ground. Paterson is clear about how they are going to do this. He has also been lending the company money and is also a 19.9% owner of the company. He is committed. He is aligned with shareholders.

ValOre Metals is a Canadian explorer with a PGE + gold asset in Brazil, Pedra Branca, and projects in Canada. The company is focussed on exploration, discovery and project advancement in minerals and mining. ValOre is part of Discovery Group. The group has allowed ValOre to cooperate and benefit from some excellent minds and strong companies. There is leverage here is the drill results keep going their way.
