Interview with Paul Begin, CFO of Continental Gold (TSX: CNL)

Continental Gold is a Colombian based company, Gold mining company and we focus on high grade assets. We're focusing on building our flagship asset called Buritica which is located about a two hour drive from Medellín. It's a high-grade multi-million ounce deposit that's on the verge of nearing commercial production.

We have three very strong and supportive partners. 1. First and foremost, is Newmont Mining. Newmont initially came in 2017, when they paid $109M for 19.9% equity stake in Continental. Newmont has been a great partner. I like to say they've got the greatest mining tool box in the world, that has been at our disposal since their investment in 2017. And they've been a big help in pressure testing various technical issues to make sure that we're going down the right path. They topped up their investment. They participated, and I would like to call them the anchor investment, in the deal that we announced in March of 2019. Where they took $50M OF A $175M deal, which was in the form of a convertible. 2. The next partner we have is Red Kite Mine Finance, which is our senior secured debt lender. They've provided $275M debt principal to us. They've been a great partner to work with. They're flexible. They think a little bit... a little out of the box. What we loved about Red Kite was we got flexible terms, very covenant light. But most importantly they were very quick to fund us. So if you go back again in our history, we received our environmental in 2016, late 2016. It was in everybody's interest that we get started on building the Buriticá project as soon as possible. And we were able to close the Red Kite Mine Finance secured debt in January 2017. And we had access to the funds immediately. So that allowed us to get going immediately and get local people to work.

Interview with Jon Bey, CEO and Director of Standard Uranium (TSX-V: STND)

A Canadian junior Exploration company, focused on the Athabasca Basin, and in particular the Southwest corner of the Athabasca Basin.

They are private. They started the company about a year and a half ago with the intention of taking it public. Standard Uranium is on schedule for an August listing on the TSX-v. They started the company with some seed money about a year and a half ago. Since then Standard Uranium continued to explore the project getting themselves ready for an initial drill program. They continued to raise capital. Last year they raised $800,000. Right now they are doing another capital raise of about $1M for which they are oversubscribed.Standard Uranium has a summer Exploration program which is going to lead them to drill targets, which they plan to have fully identified and fully permitted for a winter drill program starting in the winter February of 2020.

Really robust conversation and an insight as to some of their problems and challenges. This is the coming together of 3 Gold assets, 2 in California and 1 in Brazil, and 3 big names in the shape of Ross Beaty, Richard Wark and Lucus Lundin. A strong management team, who has investing a significant proportion of their own wealth, and is incentivised on deliverables and share price and pride themselves on being lowest quartile salary for Gold companies. This is low-grade bulk tonnage business - so it's about move dirt effectively and extracting Gold efficiently. Achieving a market cap of $725M in 18 months is no mean feat.

Christian Milau, CEO, talks through their strategy, business model and their 5yr plan. Long-term planning is the game, not short-term decision making. They have access to cash if they need it. Aurizona Gold mine getting in to production is important to the market and they feel they will do this follow some delays caused by heavy rains.

Interview with CEO John Dorward. The freedom of cashflow. The top five reasons to buy Roxgold (TSX: ROXG):1. A business model geared towards growth.2. An advanced project at Séguéla Gold Project.3. More drilling confirmed and Resource drill out targets. Séguéla should offer investors a steady stream of drill results. 4. An increasing Resource base. 5. A Preliminary Economic Assessment (PEA) is due in the 4th quarter of this year. 6. Permitting due early next year, with construction in 2020 and production in 2020. Aiming for a quick timeline without issuing new shares.8. With the Yaramoko Gold Mine, a continuation of very strong operating metrics and margins. They continue to focus on costs, to make sure that they future proof that business. 9. Strong drill results for the underground drilling at Yaramoko Gold Mine.10. Potential to make another acquisition, in a similar vein to Séguéla. 11.John sees in 12 months them finishing with a very different company. They've got a very strong balance sheet and a lot of runway in terms of cash flow ahead. They are building a new African mine with a proven development team.

Interview with Vincent Algar, Managing Director of Australian Vanadium (ASX: AVL). He said all the right things. Now we need to see him deliver on those within the tight strictures of tight treasury, swinging Vanadium prices, and a market still not back and focused on mining.

Vincent scans well and knows what he is doing. Working towards the DFS and optimising his options as he goes. A good strategic partner with cash would be welcome signal. We feel he will get there with the vertical integration he strives for but quite small at the moment (with some the concerns that brings). Could however be a very cheap addition to ones portfolio especially when the market sees Chinese rebar regulations kick in and the right type of strategic partner step up. We see some discomfort and uncertainty from retail investors but institutions seem more confident on Vanadium.
