  • Multi-layered meditation to heal holistically
This week I’m inviting you to do this multi-layered meditation that will help you calm down physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. If you are used to meditating, do this meditation as you always do (on the floor, on a chair, lying down, etc). If you don't usually meditate, just close your eyes and listen to my voice. Let go of control and dive in what I’m telling you.

  • Let fear be your messenger not your enemy
This week I’m sharing with you an article I wrote for Elephant Journal magazine about the role of fear in my own life and how challenging it has been. It’s a very intimate account about how I learned to pause and look at it in the eye to see what it had to teach me. We can learn so much when we get how to relate to fear and not with it.
Below’s the link to the autobiographical article on Elephant Journal:

If you speak Spanish, you might also enjoy my latest article on Psicología y Mente magazine about the challenges we face to feel true peace of mind. This will shed a lot of light on the topic and it will provide you with very concrete tools to feel at ease.

  • Don’t betray yourself
Have you ever been told…“You are too sensitive, nobody can tell you anything”. “Your life’s chaos, no wonder you lose everything”. “You’re overweight/skinny, do something if you want to have a partner”. “This child’s restless, are you sure he doesn't have ADHD?” “Are you anxious again, really?”
Behind every phrase I mentioned at the very beginning, there’s a subliminal message that shames, repudiates and disempowers the one who’s told that.
How do we usually respond to that?

  • Shall we talk about intimate pleasure?
One says "intimate pleasure" and what comes to mind is sex. Unfortunately, there isn’t a more bastardized word than “sex”. We associate pleasure with the secret, the dirty, the forbidden, what should not be done or told, porn, shameless people, and even vulgarity. However, intimate pleasure, has to do with love, acceptance, security and presence.

  • To love your partner, start loving yourself first.
This week I’d like to invite you to talk about love, not in general, but romantic love. Are there recipes for couples to work? How do some couples manage to feel unbridled passion, have fun and support each other in everything? Is that so though? Or is it just my perception that perfection is available out there but not in here?

  • Help! My children start their summer break
This article is dedicated to all the parents and/or caregivers who have to reconcile work with their children's summer or winter break.
Children look forward to their well-deserved rest. As parents, however, we can experience a lot of stress because we love our children and we want them to reset and have fun but we may not have as much energy or free time to be with them.
We may feel overwhelmed when we see that our children don’t have much to do, or when they feel bored, or when they’re plugged into technology, and lack a routine.
Not surprisingly when faced with this scenario, many parents keep their children busy with summer or winter camps, vacation schools, or an array of different pastimes. It is not bad if your children enjoy that, but what happens when they don’t? What happens when they feel tired after the school year and they want to feel more relaxed and obligations free?

  • Do you experience awe?
This week we are going to talk about how to honor our life by preserving our capacity to feel awestruck. I really like watching children because for them life is beautiful. A child sees a little bird or a butterfly and they feel ecstatic. They go to the park, see a high slide, and they get most excited. I don't know what happens to us, the older ones, because as we grow older, we lose the fascination for the little things that surround us.

  • Our bodies, our highest treason
The ones who live in the northern hemisphere have started to feel the rise in temperature and with it the need to take off our clothes and show our bodies. Regardless of whether you show your body or not, what do you feel when you look at your body in the mirror? I’m not only referring to our curves or lack of them. I’m also referring to our aging faces and hair. This is a sensitive issue shared by my male and female clients alike.

  • Gone with the time
This week's topic has been inspired by the way time has passed in my own life and by my personal and professional reflections. I don't know about you, but I spent a good part of my life wishing that the times that were challenging would pass quickly. I had this thought that the future would always be better. And you?

  • Grounding meditation
This week we are going to celebrate the new month with a meditation that will help us to be more grounded, relaxing every muscle, every cell, and any tension you may be experiencing.
If you have a tendency to live in your mental space rather than the physical one (thinking, creating, and even worrying), you will like this meditation that will help you get in touch with your body and the earth feeling more present and calm.
    Enjoy it!
