  • What is Key to Victory Over Abortion?

Abortion is a mountain that needs to be removed and cast into the sea. Every year 40 million abortions occur around the globe, 800,000 and growing in the U.S. If abortion were a nation, New York State would be her capital.

If every person is not made in the image of God then preborn boys and girls are not equally invaluable. But we are made in the image of God and abortion is the greatest injustice in human history.

So what is the key to victory over abortion? We must teach the world that all people are made in the image of God and as such must not be violated—inviolable.

Apart from the truth of inviolability, dignity is meaningless, equality a sham, rights are ridiculous, and justice a mirage.

God has ordained that His people walk in His ways, speaking and acting on behalf of the weak and vulnerable of society.

  • Why is Murder Wrong

Why is murder wrong? Or rape, or slavery, or sex trafficking, or genocide or physician assisted suicide? Is violating a person’s life only wrong because government says it is? If so, what happens when the politically powerful change their mind?

The Bible says that man is made in the image of God. So it is that all people are endowed with dignity. Apart from the truth that all humans are made just a little lower than God, dignity is meaningless, equality a sham, rights are ridiculous, and justice a mirage.

But if you and I are made in the image of God and dignity is real then government exists to protect all people equally and abortion stands as the greatest injustice in human history.

  • Increasing Abortion Trends Linked to Telemedicine Abortion

An investigative report published by Pregnancy Help News reveals the rising national abortion trend contributed to an increase in telemedicine abortion businesses. These businesses focus primarily on providing chemical abortion or abortion pills. Surgical abortion facilities fell between 2020 and 2021 while chemical abortion businesses increased, the report indicates. Meanwhile, the number of those businesses that use telemedicine to distribute the lethal chemical abortion pill rose forty-four percent in one year, up from sixty-nine to one hundred twenty-three. If the results of the Biden Administration’s deregulation of abortion pills is similar to what happened in Great Britain in 2020, the U.S. can expect a fifty-four percent increase in emergency follow-up as well increased hospitalization of women taking the drugs beyond the recommended gestational-age limit. If the medical maxim is ‘Do no harm’ then abortion by mail is not medical care but quackery.

  • 71 Percent of Americans Want Abortion Restricted New Polling Reveals

On January 20, 2022 the results of the latest Marist Poll reveal that seventy-one percent of Americans want abortion restricted. A supermajority, eighty-one percent, believe laws can protect both mom and her preborn baby. Additionally, the poll found that seventy-three percent of people oppose diverting tax dollars to pay for abortion including a majority of people who claim to be pro-choice.

Another survey also released in January focuses on people eighteen to thirty-four, Millennials and Gen Z, who now represent a full third of the voting public. The poll found eighty percent want the states to decide the abortion issue, three quarters of them wanting to vote limits on abortion.

With such strong public opposition to abortion, it would appear that either pro-abortion political representatives are out of touch with their constituents or simply don’t care.

  • Pro-Abort SCOTUS Justice Breyer Strategically Retires

83-year-old, pro-abortion Supreme Court Justice, Stephen Breyer, announced in late January his strategic retirement at the end of this term. Any Court nominee President Biden names must be confirmed by the Senate. Given record low presidential approval ratings and the threat of a Republican shift in the Senate after the mid-term election, replacing Breyer has become a priority. Biden has three main criteria for selecting a nominee; black, female and “worthy of Justice Breyer’s legacy.” Translation: pro-abortion.

Biden’s nomination criteria for the next Justice are sexist, racist and blatantly violate federal anti-discrimination laws the likes of which would trigger massive lawsuits in any private sector hiring scenario. But what is even more unsettling is his commitment to a candidate who uses the dagger of progressive policy to gut the Constitutional rights of all people without qualification, including the preborn ones.

  • Planned Parenthood Abandons New Rochester Office

In January, Planned Parenthood of Western and Central New York abandoned their expansion project in the Rochester suburb of Brighton under pressure from a grass roots coalition of residents who sued the Town for their lack of meaningful review in the approval process.

The lawsuit stated the Brighton Town Planning Board failed to explore the negative impacts an abortion facility inflicts on a neighborhood. These concerns include the question of waste disposal, referring to the aborted babies, Planned Parenthood’s increased use of in-home chemical abortions and its related impact on clean water, as well as concerns over lewd public displays common to abortion facilities in the vicinity of parks and schools.

Brighton resident Carol Crossed remarked, “We will not lower ourselves to the standards of Planned Parenthood.”

  • California Preps for Abortion Tourism, Looks to NY as Example

Anticipating the overturn of the 1973 Supreme Court Ruling legalizing abortion this summer, California prepares for abortion tourism, looking to New York as an example. If Roe v Wade is overturned a majority of states would outlaw abortion, concentrating all the nation’s abortions into a handful of abortion hub states like New York and California.

California Governor Gavin Newsom assembled the California Future of Abortion Council to make recommendations to “protect, strengthen, and expand abortion care in California.” The council recently released its policy recommendations which in many ways mimic New York’s actions through Governors Cuomo and now Hochul such as creating a fund to cover abortion and any related travel expenses for out-of-state women, insulating abortionists from any civil or criminal liability from a botched abortion, while promoting private abortion businesses with tax payer funds, and regulating pro-life activity.

  • Black Congressman Gary Franks Regrets His Pro-choice Votes

Gary Franks is New England’s first Black member of the House of Representatives and served three terms. He was also pro-abortion. And then on January 26 in an article written by Franks he states, “I supported the so-called pro-choice position while in Congress. These are votes I regret today and pray for God’s forgiveness on so many levels.”

Why the change of heart? He notes the huge racial disparity of 14% of the population bearing the burden for nearly 40% of all abortions. The total number of black babies aborted since legalization represent is so large that it represents a 50% reduction in the black population. This revelation causes Franks to wonder if abortion isn’t a silent genocide of Black Americans. Concluding he states, “I implore the U.S. Supreme Court to do everything in its power to stop the madness.”

  • Abortion on the Dock-Is Roe v Wade Fated to End

The Supreme Court heard oral arguments for the case Dobbs v Jackson on December 1st, 2021. After listening in, legal counsel for the largest network of pro-life service organizations in the world, believes the longstanding abortion ruling Roe v Wade is fated to end. Attorney Danielle White notes the Justices’ concerns pivoted on the fetal viability concept. This means that the Court’s original abortion ruling was founded upon an arbitrary date line for the development of the baby after which time a state has a right to protect the child. That line was arbitrarily set by the court at 24 weeks. To gut the High Court’s abortion ruling, the current court needs only five Justices. Daniel White states, “In the end, the Court appears poised to have six easy votes to jettison the viability line.”

  • New Word for Fighting Abortion

INVIOLABLE is a hound baying for the hunt. Some words have fallen out of honorable service due to abuse. But ‘inviolable’ is a gleaming sword in the arsenal of good men bent on humanity’s defense. It stands ready beside its battle mate shield, SACROSANCT. Potentially one of the most important words in the English language, inviolable is also one of the least known. It means the violation of a person is wrong because all people are invaluable. Given the blood-soaked landscape of human history, the truth of immeasurable human worth is not obvious, so we need a word for it.
