I sat down with Erika and Michelle to discuss their journeys with rescue and how it affects ones mental health, why Manitoba is suffering from over run shelters, and ways that individuals can help. Erika Shelvey, age 30 is a mom of 4, a business owner and has been working in rescue for over 4 years now. "It has become part of my lifestyle and I couldn't imagine not doing it. I have fostered with Funds for Furry Friends in Brandon, Mb and over time have become a volunteer with their rescue." Michelle Dominey, age 31, mom of 2 and a part owner of Blushed Beauty Studio.
