Corona Virus and Dr. Strange

Hi. Welcome to episode 15. Have you ever seen the Dr. Strange movie? There is a scene where Dr. Strange goes to see "the ancient one." He is told two things. 1) "Forget everything you THINK you know." And next the ancient one tells him, 2) "You have spent your whole life looking at the world through a keyhole!"

I love those two lines. They jump off the page/screen for me! What the "ancient one" is really talking about is belief and mindset. What are your beliefs about the Corona virus? What "facts" are you certain of? Do you possibly need to shift your paradigm?

Be careful of "Group Think." History is full examples where the group was certain that things were true that later turned out to be false. And the "group's truth" was 180 degrees opposite wrong! So the group wasn't just SLIGHTLY wrong or a little bit off. At one point in human history the "experts of the day" were certain that the world was FLAT! Do not DARE to suggest otherwise, after all these "experts" were "educated men" they were "scholars" worthy of respect and you should DEFER to their expertise! LOL! Whoops except today we now know that the world is NOT flat but instead it is ROUND!

Go Google Fabian Socialism. Educate yourself on that belief. And read the book, Propaganda by Edward Bernays. You can get it here by clicking this link https://amzn.to/3exWCrw

And know for sure, that there are people/forces at work attempting to USE the Corona virus panic to their advantage. Be careful about giving up your personal liberty. And use the power of your internet connection to do your own research.

Have courage today, to pick one thing, and work on your dreams!

I'm not a financial advisor. This podcast is for education/entertainment purposes only. You will need to do your own research and accept responsibility for the results of any money you choose to invest. I love using Schwab.com to buy/sell stocks/ETF's/closed end funds/options. Schwab has a very user friendly app/website and their customer service is excellent. I can easily get to speak to a human being whenever I have questions.
