Newcore are in the process of updating a Preliminary Economic Assessment (PEA) in an active exploration and mining district. The project is a simple open pit heap leach operation, with column tests and bulk samples indicating an almost 92% recovery. Newcore Gold has also expanded the land package of the project. Luke expands on why Ghana is a favorable jurisdiction for mining, with a skilled labor base and a supportive government.
