Jason Shepard joins us on today's show to talk about his love of baseball and some interesting long-standing traditions, including the 7th Inning Stretch. Is President William Howard Taft a baseball icon? Later in the show, BYU Alum and MLB player, Dane Iorg, speaks with Lauren about his experience at BYU and how it compares to his professional years.

Pro Day 2021 is in the books! There were a record number of football managers and scouts at this year's BYU Football Pro Day looking at athletes such as Zach Wilson and Brady Christensen. Both of these athletes performed incredibly this past Friday, and Lauren and Spencer are ready to talk all about it. Then, offensive tackle, Brady Christensen, speaks with Lauren about his NFL prospects, as well as his other new goals in life with the birth of his first child.

It's time for BYU's first throw-down of the NCAA tournament! To help us learn more about the historic and revered Hinkle Fieldhouse, we invited John Dedman, Associate Director of Athletics and Communications at Butler University, on the show. Lauren and Junior also learn a few fun facts about the stadium and talk about why BYU Men's Basketball team would be an amazing team to be a part of.

Lauren brings Jason Shepard back on to the show to talk about the sports they've loved watching throughout this miraculous sports years. And with the NCAA Tournament on the horizon, the two learn more about the state of Indiana, where the tournament is to be held. Prepare yourself to be educated with some very crucial knowledge, and don't be surprised if you develop a craving for bread pudding.

Things heat up as Ben Bagley joins Lauren this week on Cougar Tail Gate! The two talk about the ongoing WCC Tournament and how fans react to Allstar games and the Quarterback battle. Later in the episode, Lauren speaks to the Senior Associate Commissioner of the WCC Tournament, Aaron Woliczko, at The Orleans stadium, and he shares his experience in helping to put the tournament together.

Lauren and Junior get together to talk about the concluding basketball season and the hectic WCC Tournament schedule. Later on, Lauren speaks with St. Mary's long time play by play analyst, Alex Jensen, and reminisce on good WCC memories and make predictions on the upcoming games.

Every week is an adventure in this smooshed Spring sports season. Today alone there's a baseball double header to start the season, Women's Basketball, Men's Basketball, Men's Volleyball, Softball, and honestly I might be forgetting one. No man is busier keeping track of it all than Spencer Linton who joins us today. He was on the call for the ladies upset of 16th ranked Gonzaga on Thursday and he'll be in front of the TV all next week. We also sit down with LMU's Athletic Director Craig Pintens for his perspective on how the Lions have kept playing in Southern California amidst the circumstances.

Who would go on your Mt. Rushmore of BYU Sports? It's Presidents' Day Weekend and we're thinking historic on the Cougar Tail Gate. Valentine's Day also happens to be coming up, don't forget about that, and we'll also pine for some of the great duos for the Cougars. All kinds of sports are in action and we recap most of them, as well as that big football game. Go Cougs.

Sports fans all over the country are getting ready for one thing this week. Guacamole dip and pizza. And commercials. Hopefully some movie trailers. Oh and the big game too. Danny Sorensen and Andy Reid are representing BYU for the Chiefs going against the Buccs. Some colleges have bragged on social media this week about how many of their alum have played on Super Sunday so we did the research and talk about Cougars in the pros on the biggest day of the year.
