I'm your host, Juliet Kirby and for this pilot episode, I'm joined by a close friend Zara Mahood. Zara and I have shared a similar experience when it comes to mental health and this is the first time opening up and sharing some difficult parts of that journey with you all. We both struggled with eating disorders and anxiety which we crack open the conversation about in this episode.
For both of us, reaching out for support, learning to connect with our body and practicing meditation played a big part in strengthening our mental health. We felt it was important to share our journeys to crack the mental health stigma, one conversation at a time.
