Japan's daring sneak attack in the early hours of December 7th, 1941 on Pearl Harbor led to the deaths of 2403 Americans and over 1000 wounded. The size, scope, and shock of it all catapulted the United States into World War II and forever changed the course of the world. One major question remains unanswered: did President Rooselvelt know the attack was coming and did he let it happen? This conspiracy theory has been debated by politicians and historians since before the fires were even extinguished. Many people say that FDR was looking for a reason to get involved in the war, and this might have been an opportunity too good for him to pass up.
