Jeff recently attended WordCamp Detroit—one of many mini conferences for WordPress users that take place worldwide. In an SEO session led by Curtis Hayes, a pretty helpful tool was presented.
It’s called Screaming Frog SEO Spider. This tool is a “website crawler,” that enables you to explore website URLs and discover key elements to inspect technical and onsite SEO. While there is an option for a paid subscription to this tool, even the free version has some significant benefits:
– Find Broken Links, Errors & Redirects
– Analyse Page Titles & Meta Data
– Review Meta Robots & Directives
– Discover Duplicate Pages
– Generate XML Sitemaps
– Site Visualisations
– Crawl up to 500 URLs
Take a minute to Google “Screaming Frog SEO” (make sure to include SEO, unless you’re looking for some silly pictures of amphibians!)
