Young rich kid is the driver that causes a violent crash killing four Pepperdine college students, enters a plea in court. Fraser Bohm, of Malibu, hires  Alan Jackson, the high-profile celebrity attorney, recently making top headlines for securing a not-guilty verdict in what turned out to be one of Massachusetts most controversial murder trials.

Fraser Bohm, man accused of crashing a speeding car into four Pepperdine University sorority sisters, who were just walking along Pacific Coast Highway before being mowed down, pleads not guilty in the deaths of all four sorority sisters. 

Alan Jackson, making many recent headlines for the acquittal in the very high-profile trial of Karen Read, Jackson also represented actor Kevin Spacey in a sexual assault case, he's a former member of the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office, where he and his team successfully prosecuted music mogul and Phil Spector for the murder of actress and model Lana Clarkson.

Fraser appears in a Los Angeles County courtroom to hear his charges, alongside Jackson, who's recent defense strategies utilized in his latest murder trial, left a town divided, but did unite thousands to gather in support to free Karen Read and to financially donate to help expose police corruption.

Sean 'Diddy' Combs and his attorney continue to talk about plans for a big comeback when the disgraced rapper gets out of jail, but who knows when that will be?

Diddy will be sentenced on two felony convictions in early October.For now, he claims he's facing grim conditions with 'maggot-infested' meals behind bars at the notorious Metropolitan Detention Center (MDC) in Brooklyn.

Diddy's lead attorney, Marc Agnifilo, writes a letter to Judge Arun Subramanian, making several claims about MDC and requesting his client be released until sentencing. 

Combs' ex-girlfriend Gina Huynh, who went MIA during the trial, refusing to testify, now praises Combs and says she forgave 'the man I once loved':'Free Diddy.' Huynh, a model and influencer, dated Combs from 2014 to 2019 and spoke publicly about the physical and emotional abuse she endured at the hands of Combs.

Huynh claims the Bad Boy Records founder coerced her into terminating two pregnancies, stomped on her stomach, punched her head, and more.

Alec Baldwin’s countersuit tied to the fatal shooting on the film "Rust" back in court. A judge rules on whether the actor was defamed by the charges files against him in Halyna Hutchins death. 

President Trump has announced that more than 500 federal officers from the FBI, DEA, ATF, ICE, and the U.S. Marshals Service are being sent to Washington, D.C., for at least a week.

The FBI’s latest Uniform Crime Report shows a major nationwide shift: violent crime fell by 4.5% in 2024, and property crime by 8%.

In Atlanta, a routine arrest turned violent at the city’s Five Points MARTA station.

In New York, the life of 46-year-old security guard Aland Etienne was honored in Brooklyn by hundreds of mourners.

Bryan Kohberger complains inmates are harassing him through vents in the prison. He was moved to solitary confinement, according to the Idaho Department of Corrections, housed in restrictive housing of the J Block in the Idaho Maximum Security Institution. Inmates live in single-person cells, provided a shower every other day and allowed one hour of outdoor recreation daily, according to IDOC. 

As more evidence is release, we see more than 200 crime scene photos and videos which  show how Kohberger prepared and the brutality of the murders. One photo show a blurred,  bloodY bed. Another shows a full hand print outline on a window.   

We also learn, the mother of one of the four victims received a threatening text message during Kohberger 's sentencing.

Jodi Arias stabs her boyfriend, Travis Alexander, 28 times, shoots him and leaves him to die in a shower. In 2025, she remains in jail, serving a life sentence for murder.  Currently held at the Arizona State Prison Complex - Perryville, Arias is appealing her conviction, alleging prosecutorial misconduct and a biased atmosphere during the trial.

The Connecticut River Valley serial killer is believed to be responsible for a string of brutal murders that occurred between 1978 and 1988 across the wooded border region of New Hampshire and Vermont. The killer targeted at least seven women, many of whom were young and found stabbed to death in remote areas.  

In this episode of Zone 7, Crime Scene Investigator, Sheryl McCollum sits down with Jane Boroski, the only known survivor of the Connecticut River Valley serial killer. Attacked while seven months pregnant and left for dead after 27 stab wounds, Jane recounts the unthinkable night of her assault and the slow, painful road to healing. Two people were shot on the set of Alec Baldwin's movie Rust.

Director of photography Halyna Hutchins died, and director Joel Souza was wounded. Reports say first assistant director David Halls picked up one of three prop guns set up by armorer Hannah Gutierrez and yelled, “cold gun.”

"Cold gun" is industry slang meaning the gun does not contain live rounds. Halls gave the gun to Baldwin, who used it to rehearse a scene. According to the search warrant, Baldwin aimed the weapon at the camera when he fired, striking Hutchins and Souza.

Reports suggest crew members used the weapon for target practice earlier that morning.

A judge dismissed charges against Baldwin, and the actor sued. Now a judge has tossed the case.
