  • Israel Pressed on Many Fronts
Dr. Craig Hartman, a former attorney, is the founder and director of Brooklyn-based Shalom Ministries Inc. Born of Jewish parents and reared in the Bronx and Queens, Dr. Hartman has developed an outreach to the Jewish people that is being effectively implemented in the New York area and overseas. A frequent conference speaker and lecturer, Dr. Hartman has published a book, Through Jewish Eyes, in which he explores the Jewish roots of Christianity. Dr. Hartman holds degrees from New York University School of Law and The Jewish Theological Seminary in New York City. As recorded in Genesis 12:2-3, God made a covenant with Abram saying, "And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all the families of the earth be blessed." Throughout the Scriptures, God declared this to be an everlasting covenant. Despite God's everlasting promise to Israel, many threats continue from those who want to see Israel's annihilation. We continue to remember the horrific attack on October 7th and the continued multifront war that Israel has had to fight. Anti-Semitism is rearing its ugly head around the world. A number of significant developments have occurred over the past 30 days.

  • Defending Children from the Trans Agenda
Children today are being bombarded by the trans agenda. Some may use terms such as "indoctrination" or "grooming" to describe it and that's exactly what's taking place as an audio clip played by Jim proves. This grooming/indoctrination is happening in multiple ways and the guest on this broadcast describes these influences. For this subject Crosstalk welcomed Rebecca Terrell. Rebecca is senior editor and regular contributor to the New American. In the current issue of The New American Rebecca is author of the cover story, "Defending Children Against the Trans Agenda." Rebecca believes that our entire culture and nation is at stake. The upcoming generation of children and teens is being brainwashed and it's not only affecting us morally, it's also affecting the U.S. birth rate which has been in steep decline for many years. This brainwashing is happening to young people through school curriculum, media/entertainment, technology, corporate America, bans on conversion therapy and more. Get the latest information on this topic, and hear what listeners had to say, when you review this edition of Crosstalk.

  • COP29 Climate Summit
Alex Newman is an award-winning international freelance journalist, author, researcher, educator and consultant. He is senior editor for The New American. He also co-author of Crimes of the Educators, author of Deep State: The Invisible Government Behind the Scenes as well as Indoctrinating Our Children to Death. He is founder of Liberty Sentinel. The COP29 (29th meeting of the Conference of the Parties) climate summit is going on right now in Azerbaijan. Ahead of this summit, the U.N. Secretary General, Antonio Guterres said, "Earth is ablaze and humanity is exposed." The fear-mongering tactics show no signs of letting up. In fact, a stated goal of this conference was to get more money from nations, all in an effort to save the planet. Are conferences like this actually about carbon dioxide or are they really about undermining America's economy in an attempt to restructure the world order? Find out as Alex explains what the upcoming Trump presidency signals to the conference of the parties. Alex believes that if Trump's past rhetoric is any guide to what we might see, his presidency will decimate the COP climate agenda. However, assuming he can stop this climate agenda, will he since he's made some recent appointments that are highly questionable. These and other points were analyzed, while listeners shared their thoughts to wrap up the broadcast.

  • Border Overhaul in Store
Border safety and security for Americans. That was a driving element in the recent presidential election because nearly 4 years ago, the Biden/Harris administration dismantled the border control policies that had been working effectively under the previous Trump administration. Millions of people have encroached on our borders. Some did it secretly, while others entered illegally by appointment using a special Biden/Harris supplied app. This has resulted in the criminal element creating havoc across America through violent crimes such as rapes, murders, car jackings and even the takeover of apartment complexes. Social services have been maxed out and our nation's health care, education system and housing have been impacted. Even many police and sheriff's departments have been overwhelmed while many law abiding citizens have been called upon to pick up the bill. However, a new day has dawned with President-elect Donald Trump returning to the White House and he's promised to close our borders to those seeking to enter illegally. Joining Jim to discuss what's ahead for border security was Andrew Arthur. Andrew is Resident Fellow in Law and Policy for the Center for Immigration Studies.

  • Medicare: How to Protect Your Health Choices
Twila Brase is president and co-founder of Citizens' Council for Health Freedom, a national patient-centered, privacy-focused, free-market policy organization to support health care choices, individualized patient care and medical and genetic privacy. She is the speaker on the daily Health Freedom Minute. Twila believes that people are being misled when it comes to things like health care quality, standards of care and privacy. On the quality issue, she indicated that quality is whatever the government says it is and in this case they say it's compliance. For example, under COVID, quality was viewed by the government as the number of people that were vaccinated or a certain percentage of people in a clinic receiving the flu vaccine. This is greatly different from patients who define quality as access to a physician instead of a non-physician or more time spent with their doctor. Instead patients are confronted with things like limited access to care, complying with whatever they're told or electronic health records and reporting the data of patients. So how does this affect those 65 and older who have to make choices in regard to their health care? What are the differences between traditional Medicare and Medicare Advantage? You can find out as Twila has compiled a helpful Medicare how-to guide that allows people to make educated health care decisions. This guide is not medical, financial, legal or even insurance advice. Instead, this is for informational purposes. Twila gives listeners an overview of the guide on this broadcast so you can decide if this might help as you steer your way through the maze of health care options.

  • Election’s Impact on Abortion
Rev. Jim Harden is the president and CEO of CompassCare Pregnancy Services in New York. For Reverend Harden, making America great again requires making America moral again and he sees an opportunity for just that with Trump back in the White House. That means an opportunity for the church as well. He also noted that the government doesn't have the ability to make America moral but it does have the ability to reward those who do good and to punish those who do bad things. Vice President Kamala Harris centered her election efforts almost entirely on abortion, although she called it "reproductive choice." Reverend Harden called her defeat a "sound beating" signaling that the American people want to distance themselves from abortion just as they distanced themselves from the abortion czar. Tim Walz also shares blame as he signed a bill that allows abortion through all nine months of pregnancy in Minnesota. Reverend Harden believes that such abortion efforts use women, under the guise of reproductive rights, to gain power. Proof of this could be seen when they were confronted with the question of when, during a pregnancy, should there not be an abortion. The default answer was that they simply wanted to see Roe v. Wade reinstated. In addition, they'd deny that late term abortions were even taking place. Critical to this issue concerns who President-elect Trump will appoint as Secretary of Health and Human Services. Also discussed was abortion on the ballot, the Wisconsin 1849 abortion bill, what Trump can do to promote life, the stockpiling of the abortion pill and more.

  • Veterans Day Tribute 2024
It was on the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month in 1918 when WWI ended. Though the cease fire (armistice) was signed at 5am in the morning, it specified that 11 am would be the hour that the actual fighting would stop. Tragically, in the intervening 6 hours of fighting, an additional 11,000 more were killed. In 1921, President Warren Harding had the remains of an unknown soldier who was killed in France brought to Arlington Cemetery and buried in what's known as the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. Inscribed on the tomb are these words: "Here rests in honored glory an American soldier known but to God." In 1926, President Coolidge began issuing proclamations honoring veterans every year and in 1938, the day became a legal holiday. In 1954, the name Armistice Day was changed to Veterans Day to honor all soldiers of all American wars. 4 million Americans served in WWI, 16 million in WWII, nearly 7 million served in the Korean War, nearly 9 million served in the Vietnam War and from the first Gulf War to the present, 7.4 million men and women serve. While Veterans Day honors living soldiers, Memorial Day honors those who died while serving. This broadcast is Crosstalk's way of giving thanks as the phone lines were opened allowing listeners across the nation to honor a veteran on the broadcast.
