In it, we were encouraged, as believers, to not stagnate in our being spiritually immature and instead grow beyond the basics of the Christian faith. The message specifically called us to pursue maturity through obedience, perseverance, and hope in Christ.May we continue on praising Him and Him alone who satisfies us, and press on toward a more mature and a truly faithful life in Christ!"And we desire each one of you to show the same earnestness to have the full assurance of hope until the end, so that you may not be sluggish, but imitators of those who through faith and patience inherit the promises." The Son Became the Source of Our Salvation - Hebrews 5:1-10

In Hebrews 5:1-10, the apostle presented the significance of the incarnation and the priestly work of Jesus. He explained that the Eternal Son of God had to become fully man, so that He might perform priestly work before God as the perfect representative of man. The Son of God became incarnate not only to live among His people, but primarily to live in perfect obedience and submission to God in order to fulfill the office of High Priest, becoming the source of salvation to all those who obey.

Draw Near to God Through Christ - Hebrews 4:14-16

After confronting the believers about the danger of unbelief and the consequences of disobedience, the author of Hebrews now comforts them by pointing to the heavenly priesthood and the perfect obedience of Christ. The believers can hold firmly to their confession because Jesus endured the suffering on earth and ascended into heaven, which affirms their faith and provides full assurance of hope. They can also draw near to God with confidence in prayer because Christ, who is the Great High Priest, makes intercession for His people.
