  • Today I'm talking with Registered Dietitian, Michelle Yates

    Send us a text

This week on the CWC podcast I am talking with Registered Dietitian, Michelle Yates. Michelle has a masters in health psychology, specializing in eating disorders and disordered eating. She has worked in hospitals, outpatient ed treatment, and is now coaching women online to overcome things like binge eating, emotional overeating, all or nothing thoughts with food, and getting off the diet roller coaster once and for all. I found her on TikTok after we both made similar videos in response to the viral "mustard trend" and how dangerous it is. We are both here to answer any questions you all have, and if you are struggling with any of the things we mentioned in today's episode please reach out to Michelle or myself.
You can find her on IG at: Yatesnutrition or on her website at yatesbutrition.com

  • "Fighting For My Health"

    Send us a text

On this week's episode of the CWC podcast I am talking in depth about my past issues with both alcohol and food. I also share some interesting updates regarding my ongoing health struggles. Overall health is seemingly just one big puzzle that needs to be worked from multiple angles/modalities and since our healthcare system is not set up this way it can be frustrating to say the least. I also talk about how women are often gaslighted about our pain and suffering, ultimately left to figure out these issues on our own, when many of them lead back to childbirth, hormone fluctuations, mental illness, etc. Hopefully my story can help someone also going through ongoing health issues. As always, I am available for support and questions.

  • "Ongoing Recovery, More on Semaglutide, & How To Live Your Life Without Worrying About What Your Body Looks Like"

    Send us a text

On this week's episode of the CWC podcast I am picking up where I left off last week with a brand new update regarding my recovery, including how I may have to undergo another surgery💀. I also talk further about the physical changes I have witnessed after being on the Semaglutide for 6 weeks, as well as some more interesting changes that my clients have noticed, and why I have decided to take a small break from it. I wrap it up with the importance of feeling good in your skin, letting go of the number on the scale, and providing you with steps to take to start living your life, enjoying your food, and wearing the shorts all while continuing to work on your body at the same time.

  • Under Pressure

    Send us a text

This week on the CWC Podcast, I discuss the increasing pressure faced by women and how it has grown since our parents' generation. Society often confines women by making them feel the need to meet specific beauty standards to be accepted or desired. Personally, I share my experience of succumbing to this pressure by getting breast implants in my early 20s and later trying steroids, which negatively impacted my health and well-being. Additionally, I touch on topics like postpartum depression, masking, marriage, s*x, the mental load of women and mothers, mom guilt, and so much more.

  • Talking Semaglutide with PA, Tanna Donalson

    Send us Fan Mail

On this week's episode of the CWC Podcast I am joined by my friend, and Physician's Assistant Tanna Donalson. Tanna has been instrumental in helping me get my health back in order after my explant surgery in 2020 and we have remained close since. I wanted to have her on to dispel some of the rumors going around regarding Ozempic (Semaglutide.) Tanna uses evidence-based research and personal experience with patient care to explain what it actually is, who it can help (more people than you think), why you will not lose muscle mass while taking it, and we answered every single question that was submitted on my Instagram stories!

If you are having trouble finding it or being able to afford it because your insurance won't cover it, Tanna explains at the end how she can help. Please submit any questions you have and we will answer them!

  • How OCD Played A Role In My Fitness Obsession

    Send us a text

This week on the CWC podcast I go deep into what it's really like living with Obsessive-compulsive disorder, and how it played a role in my hyperfixation with fitness, alcohol, food, and more. I talk in depth about dealing with perfectionism, the endless need for control (which I still battle), and how just understanding the way your brain works can make room for relief. I provide some AMAZING tips for anyone dealing with fitness obsession that can not only help you make progress faster but do it without being unhealthy and furthering the toxic mentality that diet culture wants you to remain trapped in. Oh, and I also tossed in a fun little bit of trivia about me never being wrong about a person...EVER. Enjoy!

  • CWC Client, Molly Stoffa

    Send us a text

On this week's episode of the CWC podcast I am interviewing my client/friend Molly Stoffa. Molly is a 46 year old mom of 2 busy kids, a nurse, a fire wife, & taco addict 😂
Molly initially found me through one of her friends tagging me on IG, and then watched my stuff for a year before joining CWC. That "moment" was not what you'd expect, and consequently had nothing to do with her physique. Since working together I've discovered how many similarities we share, from growing up with a bipolar parent, to competing in bodybuilding shows, to realizing that if we ever wanted true change we would need to sit with ourselves and face our darkness.
One of my favorite things Molly said was that CWC helped her learn how to manage stress and set healthy boundaries for herself. This is one of my favorite and most powerful episodes and I hope that Molly's story resonates with you.
