Cwic Media- LDS Podcast / Latter-day Saints

Dallas Jenkins, creator of The Chosen, recently gave an excellent talk at BYU. It is exciting to hear such talks from people of other denominations. Dallas' talk was on overcoming adversity and failure by giving everything to God.

With some fascinating insights from the story of the Feeding Of The Five Thousand, Dallas talks of his personal experience of failure and the new worldview he gained by reading this Biblical account.

BYU invited an official from UNRWA, which is heavily infiltrated by Hamas, to give a presentation at the BYU Kennedy Center. The presentation followed Hamas's talking points and received a standing ovation. Hamas terrorists working as employees for UNRWA were involved in the October 7 massacre.

Earlier this week, Israel passed a law requiring the UNRWA, the United Nations arm for Palestinian refugee relief, to cease operations and leave Gaza and the West Bank. Why, because it is infiltrated by Hamas according Israeli officials. Jabra Ghneim, a Palestinian-born American academic, discusses this standoff and the relationship between the United Nations and Israel.

Interestingly, BYU just had a representative of the UNWRA speak on campus. The Antisemitism of college campuses is now infiltrating the activist administrations and teachers of American K-12 education.

This is a re-post of the original episode, which is no longer available.

A Stake Relief Society LGBTQ presentation called for the use of preferred pronouns, wearing the Pride Flag or rainbows, and recommended replacing "brother" and "sister" with "friend."

These presentations, which are all very similar, are happening all over the US. They essentially promote the Pride movement and do not include teachings of Exaltation and the Law of Chastity.

The Pride Cycle moves back and forth, just like the Hegelian Dialectic. Many today say that Woke is doomed. I disagree. The adversary will never stop. New words and strategies will always be invoked and become "in vogue." Technology plays a significant role in the pride cycle.

The additional liberty and options it provides create more opportunities for bad choices. The gospel is political. The Book of Mormon is a highly political book.

Jesus is not a Teddy Bear. President Holland, in his talk, describes a masculine, bold, protective, and charitable man who is tethered to truth and the will of His Father.

We should not "dumb down" the image and character of Jesus Christ.

When you remove justice you remove grace. Charity may not be what you think it is.

A new BYU article from the student newspaper, the Daily Universe, advocates for "women's reproductive rights." The Church earlier this month confirmed its position on abortion that "it remains the same."

Members are swapping political parties, and many who are voting Democrat are beginning to adopt that platform, including "reproductive rights."

Judgment is rarely mentioned anymore. Not fire and brimstone judgment, just an understanding that judgment stands between us and God. The Redemption is only good for those who use it.

"No unclean thing can enter into the kingdom of God." This is the obstacle. This is the Cherubim from the Garden Of Eden Account. The entire plan of God is to help us get through the Cherubim and through judgment.
