Cyclops is Waiting for Me is our weekly podcast series where we are going back and watching EVERY-SINGLE-X-MEN-ANIMATED-EPISODE we can find. This podcast started with the original 1992 X-Men: The Animated Series building up to the release of X-Men ‘97. Along the way, we’ve also launched our companion show The Xavier Files with interviews of members of the X-Men community including voice actors from the series!

Since season 2 of X-Men ‘97 is now a ways off, we are returning for the second half of our first watch through of X-Men: Evolution.

Evolution let's us know the big bad Apocalypse is looming as a special lineup of X-Men (that made JC jump for joy) and Magneto's Acolytes race to get a hold of the second key needed to release him on the world.

Being a teenager is hard. Being a mutant is hard. Being a teenage mutant with multiple peoples' psyches in your head is probably the hardest. Rogue (and the rest of the team) must deal with an overload of her powers as Mystique sets her over the edge.

Oh, and Scott and Jean still haven't had "the talk"... damn kids.

Have you ever been SO mad at your dad you've spent months tracking him and his minions down to their mountainside lair? Have you ever been so scared of your daughter you forcibly recruit a top tier telepath to rearrange her memories to forget that you suck as a father? If so, you may be ready for the Brotherhood of Mutants or to lead your own mutant liberation. And meanwhile, Toad is the ultimate c***block for Nightcrawler's love life.

It's 2002. Everything is extreme. The most extreme don't even need an E at the beginning of the word. JC and Rod hop into the time capsule of energy drinks and skateboarding with a full on appearance from the Morlocks as Spyke continues having trouble adjusting with his powers.

Oowee! We are finally back to X-Men: Evolution hopping back into the middle of season 3 after quite the break. But things didn't slow down as Mystique is back and turning into two different kinds of birds to get her revenge on Cyclops. F it, she's an owl.

We are doing something a little different this week as we invite Meg Boland, best known for her horde of memes in support of our beloved Cajun, Gambit. Apologies to the Rogueneto stans as this episode may have a little bit of bias to it.

An avid member of the X-Men '97 online community, PunkerDuckie has been one our favorite people to cross paths with since the series relaunch back in March. We are excited to share her fandom with all of you.

The Xavier Files is our offshoot interview show focused on conversations with members of the cast or production team about any X-Men Animated Series.

With Deadpool & Wolverine just around the corner, we've got our second movie watch along commentary from JC & Rod.

To watch along with us, que up the movie to 0:00:00 and we'll count down together before hitting play! And make sure to have appropriate snacks like a chimichanga (or your very special popcorn bucket).
