Kind of wild to think that after more than 2 and a half years of waiting, we are in the thick of the season finale already! Though the big bad wasn't a huge shock, Bastion's actions this episode continue to raise the stakes and look like they are leading to more iconic moments. But at this point, who knows? This team has continued to delight and surprise JC and as Rod says, he has no idea what's coming next (and neither does JC).

In the penultimate story before the 3-part finale, you'd think this week may lighten things up for us but instead it just keeps building.
JC & Rod react to Nightcrawler joining the time while Rogue is running through the globe and America's Top Cop in search of Bolivar Trask. If you're going to hit something, Rogue isn't pulling her punches. Especially now.

After the emotions of "Remember It", Chris Riley of X-Reads and the Uncanny Experience joined us for what we were hoping would be a little bit of a more lighthearted week. Thankfully, alongside some dramatic moments this week also gave us the sassiest character on this side of the gallery with Deathbird. With a surprise return for Xavier to the series and the story of Storm taking on The Adversary, LifeDeath Part 2 gave us (but especially Rod) some moments to shout in excitement as the second half of the season kicked off.

It's the night of the Genoshan Gala. With the Watcher overlooking the event, we know this was going to be a huge moment but we don't think anyone was prepared for this.
JC, Rod and our guest Cosmoe of the Cosmoe Show react to one of the biggest moments in mutant history (with the likes of the Phoenix and Dark Phoenix sagas). We can't emphasize enough the emotion contained in this episode and all the respect we have for the team who put it together. The cast and crew gave us something special here.

There was so much to talk about with "Remember It" that we needed to separate our own episode into 2 parts. In the highest rated piece of non-comic X-Men media, Remember It welcomes Genosha into the UN as the X-Men are represented on the island nation by Magneto, Rogue and Gambit.
Cosmoe Tayson, one of LA's Gambit superfans joins us for this emotional episode where this love triangle comes to a head and we see Astonishing X-Men storytelling.

Moments after Sinister reveals their replacements to the Nasty Boys, he welcomes his Sinister Seven of the Mutant Menace to the team and sends them out to wreak havoc on the X-Men. Most notably, he actually has them attack Wolverine AT A BAR. He didn't think it through.

We NEED a new sidescrolling X-Men Beat 'em Up video game. This episode proves it.
In this interesting presentation with 2/3 of the episode being 1 story and the latter 1/3 being part 1 of the classic LifeDeath story.
Kinda Funny's Tim Gettys joins Rod and JC to gush about his love of the series so far and to deep dive on the relevant as ever Motendo episode as Mojo looks to move to the most dominant form of media (video games) and then to the incredibly serious and heartfelt tale of Storm, Forge and their quest to help get her powers back.

JC and Rod are humbled as we are joined by Isaac Robinson-Smith, a.k.a. the Voice of Bishop. We aren't going for spoilers or a big scoop here. Instead, we are excited to share this amazing conversation as Isaac talks about the process of becoming an X-Men as a voice actor, his own personal connection to the character and what it's like having a character he is voicing show up on the shelf as an action figure. Make sure to enjoy this conversation with the voice of the Mutant Out of Time and sound off below.
The Xavier Files is our offshoot interview show focused on conversations with members of the cast or production team about any X-Men Animated Series.

"We're in hell!" Morph making sure we know that the Inferno has kicked off and kicked off hard. We get our first dose of "Secret Babies" as JC and Rod discuss what it means to have two Jeans (with one very obviously being the Goblin Queen, thanks Funko for the NYCC spoiler) in this surreal nightmare. And we get 97's first appearance of Sinister. Literally the only thing we can say is we wish this could have been more than one episode for such an epic story.
