The party gives Arsen a makeover in attempts to disguise his royal heritage, leaving him with a fantastic cut and very questionable colour. With support from the loving Brillia, Kos faced her demons as the adventures reunited the body of Lord Harrock Hillguard with his grieving family. The return of their fathers body brought up questions of entitlement for Lord Hillgaurd’s three children and our adventures bonded and shared secrets over fine dwarven liquor. The party were prepared to pay their respects at Lord Hillguard’s funeral but were instead confronted with a missing corpse and a very shocked congregation.

Reclaiming her title, Princess Verity faces her need to repent for the murders in her past. Elly leaves behind the man she loves to find what remains of her people, long thinking them dead. Ariana struggles with what it means to be both Penny and Anisha, as her mind merges with that of a villager she was unable to save. 

They are joined by new allies, Lenore, Taabi and Brilia. Lenore, a follower of the Raven Queen, finds herself drawn to helping these lost young women, but holds secrets that may change the meaning of magic. Taabi, a nomad who will do anything to survive, also seeks the secrets of the dead.  Brilia, a former housewife turned adventurer who learned her warlock abilities to protect her partner, Kos.

After returning Kos to her home and girlfriend, Brillia, the party sets in for a relaxing night only to be interrupted by a devastated Kos escaping from the house to meet her death like a warrior. Ryan, Elly and Ariana stood together against the Emperor and Empress of Caraquette in a final showdown to seize power from the corrupt rulers. After facing their own memories of loss and pain, our ‘heroes’ fight on a castle parapet in the pouring rain, only to risk their own lives diving off the tower to bring an end to this reign of darkness.

The siege of Carquette starts with a bang, literally, as Ariana and Tiffania set a series of bombs throughout the city to distract the guards while Elly and Ben advance the main troops across the frozen lake to take the Capital City by surprise. Ryan, Elly and Ariana sat down with their war counsel to devise the perfect plan to kill the Emperor, Empress and perhaps, their old friend and the Crown Prince, Atlas. Armed with potions, spells, rituals, weapons and a good-old-fashioned drive for justice, the team breaks up to attack the castle from three fronts, only to meet with a series of obstacles dispatched by the Caraquette guards.
