Sunday of the Second Week in Ordinary Time
Invitatory Antiphon: Come, worship the Lord, for we are his people, the flock he shepherds, alleluia.
First Antiphon: Lord, our God, in splendor and majesty you are clothed, wrapped in light as in a robe, alleluia.
Second Antiphon: The Lord has brought forth bread from the earth, and wine to give warmth to men's hearts, alleluia.
Third Antiphon: The Lord looked upon all he had made and saw that it was very good, alleluia.
Verse: Blessed are your eyes, for they see God's works.
Resp: And your ears, for they hear his word.
First Reading: Dt 1:1, 6-18
Response: He has no favorites and accepts no bribes.
Second Reading: From a Letter to the Ephesians by St. Ignatius of Antioch, bishop and martyr
Response: Be careful to preserve the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
