Jon Caldara, in for Dan, is incredulous and angry that JeffCo Public Schools have been so resistant to making their K-12 buildings 'hard targets' with an established armed presence by on-campus staff members - and if they cared about kids as they claimed, they would protect them at all costs. A shooting at Evergreen High School on Wednesday left the suspected shooter dead from a self-inflicted wound and two other students hospitalized in critical condition.

Jon Caldara, President of the Independence Institute, fills in for Dan on a very dark Wednesday which saw Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk killed by an assassin's bullet on the campus of Utah Valley University.

Laura Carno, Executive Director of FASTER Colorado, joins the show to discuss the Evergreen High School shooting, which left two students severely wounded and the suspected gunman dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
