Big love to 1664 Blanc, principal partner of London fashion week 2024 for sponsoring this pod.
Denola Grey is an actor, digital creator and fashion consultant from London via Lagos.
We chat about his upbringing, 10 years in the business, acting, how playing characters influences his daily style, working with Audi, personal style growth and getting the call up from Fenti.
Celebrate 40 years of London Fashion Week with 1664 Blanc as part of the British Fashion Council's city-wide celebration, Friday 13th & Saturday 14th September, Covent Garden East Piazza 12-8pm.
Just a quick unedited ep for you, before a guest podcast next week.
Danny is in London whilst Jordan is living it up in New York City. chatting about pizza, photoshoots, DJs being dickheads, almost passing out in taxis, a friends event raising 20k for charity and much more.
We're back, and... smaller than ever?
With Jordan landing a new job, and Dan navigating his mid-late 20's like a deer in headlights, we've decided to streamline the pod to focus on the real meat and potatoes of the podcast - the pod itself.
We chat about visiting Silverstone for the F1, Dan getting his phone nicked due to being nice, Jordan partying with Lisa Rinna, it not coming home, Jordan kicking jjjjounds balls and a nice toast to bring in the new season.
Here we go. Season 3 is here. And we are starting off with a HUGE episode.
Big hitters Represent and Duke & Dexter teamed up for an iconic collaboration and we had the pleasure of chatting to Georgie and Archie about this monumental moment.
Jack Harper started out as a graphic designer before bagging jobs at 2 of the current most prestigious streetwear brands.
He then turned his attention to his own anti-brand Aeliza.
We chat to Jack about 'the good old days' of streetwear, applying previous knowledge to current brands, building trust as a brand, the future of AI and of course, what item of clothing he'd save from a burning building.
Ladies and gentleman, the big boy.
To celebrate 100 years of Belstaff, we were invited to Belstaffs home in Stoke on Trent to see the archive. How did we get there? The British Pullman.
The British Pullman is an iconic train, but did we sit back and relax? Of course not.
We recorded back to back mini episodes with some amazing guests - some Dansplaining alumni and some new faces for your ears and (hopefully) your eyes to enjoy.
Of course the audio may not be the crispiest, but if you couldn't tell, this was on a real life moving train. The things we do for content.
Thank you so much for the day Belstaff, and a big Happy Birthday xxx
This week we are joined by Joe and Triv of The Great Divide, a menswear retailer and wholesaler based in East London specialising in Americana and Japanese clobber. A super interesting chat about the menswear landscape, how the industry has changed over the years and what's to come in the future.
The boys also teamed up and shot a lookbook with a few familiar faces, releasing very shortly. Details over on @DansplainingPod
Enjoy!
After many moons we finally had the pleasure of Joel here at Dansplaining.
Joel is the author of 'Brilliant Brilliant Brilliant Brilliant Brilliant' and has just released his second book 'Four stars'.
We talk about his time at Vice, how to chat to strangers, the time they all went through a human carwash together, spending a week with Americas only football hooligan, the time a kid ripped his nuts on a tree and much, much more.
Enjoy.
