Our caller this week is out and proud but his family’s approval weighs heavy on his heart and plays games with his mind when it comes to approaching the dating scene. Sometimes it’s easier to “fix” what we can physically see and while he’s put a lot of emphasis on his physical appearance to build confidence when it comes to dating, it looks like he may need to shift his focus if he wants to find that true love he’s after! As the old saying goes, it’s what’s on the inside that counts. With dating apps making rejection just one swipe away based on a couple photos, it’s easy to get caught up with the significance of the superficial but but if it’s love you’re after and not just lust, ya gotta dig a little deeper... as hard as that can be!
