Did you know that most people spend around 90 per cent of their time indoors? And something as simple as our that small part of our lifestyle can have a huge impact on our mental and physical health.

[audio mp3="https://media.radiocms.net/uploads/2022/03/29115945/MarkRowe_2903.mp3"][/audio]

Dr Mark Rowe believes that lifestyle can play a key part in keeping us well, even if it starts with something as simple as getting outside and really looking at nature.

The author of ‘The Vitality Mark’ wants us all to start looking at our lives more holistically and understand how connected our mind, body and spirit are when it comes to feeling our best.

For What’s The Story, Nicole in Shannon shared an incredible tale of a hungover aunt, a lucky hamster and a tetanus injection.

For Maria's Telly, Producer Maria filled Dermot and Dave in on what's on the box this week including news that Holby City is coming to an end after 23 years on our telly. The Oscars will be shown tonight on RTE but I guess nothing happened at that.....

As people all across Ireland, and across Europe, rally behind people of Ukraine many of us are left wondering how we can help.

For Andy Smyth, he knew that there were likely thousands of animals who would need his assistance.

Andy, who runs Husky Rescue Ireland, undertook a massive two week campaign which included collecting food and blankets for the pets before driving across Europe to refugee camps to drop off the donations as refugees crossed the border.

The Dubliner was also involved in an incredible rescue campaign which included crossing the border into Ukraine where 53 dogs were taken to safety.

Andy joined Dermot and Dave to explain why he felt the need to go as well as sharing some of what he encountered on his journey.

It’s that time of the year when legs and arms start to come out a little more and we start thinking of ways to make ourselves look a little more sun-kissed.

Step forward our old friend, fake tan.

But there’s big changes afoot to our favourite sun in a bottle!

The Skin Nerd aka Jennifer Rock, joined Dermot and Dave to explain what’s changing and why.

It's the smack that was heard all around the world. Moments before winning the Academy Award for Best Actor, Will Smith was on stage for a totally different reason.

[audio mp3="https://media.radiocms.net/uploads/2022/03/28121644/Oscars_2803.mp3"][/audio]

Enraged by a joke made by host Chris Rock about his wife, Jada Pinkett Smith, Will Smith stormed the stage and slapped the comedian before telling him to 'keep my wife's name out of your mouth'.

Dermot and Dave along with producer (and telly expert) Maria Devereux looked at the lead up to the slap and debated if it has shadowed Will Smith's win.

Whether you’re on a drive, out on a walk, getting stuck into the gaff or garden or looking for a bit of distraction from work, the Dermot and Dave Best of podcast has just some of our favourite moments from the week gone by!

He said he wanted to be in a big parade so, Dermot and Dave made it happen. That’s right, our Cathal made a holy show of himself in Cootehill’s Paddy’s Day parade.

Turns out that if you try to play the national anthem on the tin whistle in front of a crowd when you can’t play the tin whistle, you will forget how the song even goes.

Our Maria caused HUGE scandal when she admitted that she had stuck her wedding dress in the washing machine, and it came out in one piece!

We got the final update on Dermot’s Dad Cave as the place got a lick of paint! Dave is officially back in his shorts, and we heard from the listener who found something incredible on her local beach!

And there’s plenty of celebrity names in there too! The lads caught up with Ethan Hawke about his new Disney+ series, and Elisha Cuthbert learnt a classic Irish phrase.

“I kind of got to pick and pull from whatever I wanted the character to be” 🌙
