Gospel music legend, Bill Gaither, has some great stories to share with us! He also tells us about the new Christmas special called All Heaven and Nature Sing with Bill Gaither & Friends featured on TBN! An avid fan of gospel quartets throughout his childhood, Bill founded his first group, The Bill Gaither Trio, in 1956, while he was a college student. He began teaching English in 1959 because his musical aspirations couldn’t support him full-time… yet. In 1962, Bill did one of the best things he has ever done. He married Gloria Sickal, who became the best writing partner Bill could have found anywhere. The couple spent the first five years of their married life juggling full-time teaching jobs, writing, singing, recording, and publishing until music became their full-time career in 1967. The collaborations of Bill and Gloria have resulted in more than 700 popular gospel songs. After decades of unprecedented musical successes, Bill and Gloria still operate their business from Bill’s hometown of Alexandria, Indiana, and they dwell in the same home in which they raised their family. They live a lifestyle focused on investing their resources into eternal things.

President Dan Studt of Freedom in Christ Ministries joins the conversation to tell us about this incredible discipleship ministry. Dan earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology at Messiah College (1993) and a Master of Divinity degree at Palmer Theological Seminary (then Eastern Baptist Theological Seminary) in 1999. He served in pastoral ministry for 25 years as a youth and family pastor, and then as a church planter. Dan served as the Northeast Director of FICM from November 2009 until December 2015. He then joined FICM Field Staff on a part-time basis from January 2016 until May 2019. Currently, Dan is in the role of President of FICM-USA. Dan also enjoys teaching FICM seminars and leading people through The Steps to Freedom in Christ. Dan and his wife Jen have four children and currently live in Knoxville.

Singer/songwriter Nathan Sheridan was born in Pensacola, Florida, to parents dealing with addiction. At the age of 4, Nathan and his sister went to live with their grandparents in Pearl River, Louisiana. Several years later, Nathan’s sister Sara passed away after battling brain cancer. Nathan made a commitment to Christ when he was 14, and three years later, after graduation, enlisted in the National Guard where he served six years. While deployed in Kuwait, Nathan led worship for fellow soldiers, providing a foundation that impacts his ministry today.  Nathan and his wife live outside Nashville.
