Days of our Lives sees the relationship between Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) and Cat Greene (AnnaLynne McCord) continues to evolve. As summer heats up in Salem, Chad grows suspicious of Cat's secret dealings, unknowing of her undercover role for ISA director Shane Donovan (Charles Shaughnessy). Complicating matters further, Cat once impersonated Chad's deceased wife, Abigail Deveraux (AnnaLynne McCord), a past that still haunts their present interactions. 

DOOL sees Chad finds himself increasingly drawn to Cat, causing tension between him and members of the Horton family, including Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) and Jennifer Horton (Cady McClain), who hold no love for Cat. Meanwhile, Chad's brother, EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel), becomes the subject of Cat and Raph's secret investigation, leading to potential family conflict.

Days of our Lives sees Chad's suspicions are piqued when Cat receives a mysterious text from James, Raph's alias, along with a delivery of homemade soup. This leads Chad to suspect Cat is hiding something, particularly as he recognizes the soup as a recipe familiar to the Hernandez family, including Raph (Galen Gering) and Gabi (Cherie Jimenez). 

Days of our Lives sees Chad's growing feelings for Cat, coupled with his curiosity about James, may push him to investigate further. As both Cat and Raph delve deeper into EJ's finances for the university hospital purchase, Chad may decide to involve his top reporter, Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart), in finding out more about James and his connection to Cat. 

Days of our Lives viewers remain divided over Chad and Cat's budding relationship, with many finding it unsettling for Chad to be involved with the woman who once impersonated his late wife. As the plot unfolds, the question of whether Chad will uncover Cat's secret assignment and how he will react remains a tantalizing mystery.
