Days of our Lives spoilers show that EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) wins a date with Cat Greene (AnnaLynne McCord), raising eyebrows and sparking intrigue among fans. EJ's motives for bidding on Cat in the hospital fundraiser bachelorette auction are shrouded in mystery. Is it to make Belle Black (Martha Madison) jealous or to get even with his brother, Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn)? 

DOOL spoilers reveal that the timing of EJ's participation in the auction, just after regaining consciousness from a coma, adds to the intrigue. He seems to be planning to get under the skin of both Belle and Chad by treating Cat to a night of romance. Moreover, EJ's history of conflict with Belle's family on Days of our Lives, including last year's kidnapping of Eric Brady's (Greg Vaughan) infant son Jude, suggests his actions could be part of a larger scheme. 

More spoilers for The Days of our Lives indicate that Chad isn't ready to date anyone, and his in-laws, Jack (Matthew Ashford) and Jennifer (Cady McClain) Horton, hold a grudge against Cat.
