Days of our Lives sees Gabi Hernandez (Cherie Jimenez) wakes up in bed with Philip Kiriakis (John-Paul Lavoisier), leaving viewers in suspense about their relationship. Gabi, in collaboration with Tony DiMera (Thaao Penghlis), is trying to reclaim DiMera Enterprises from Xander (Paul Telfer) and Philip. She's been working hard to gain their trust, but her sudden kindness has raised Philip's suspicions. Gabi, however, manages to keep her plans hidden, convincing Philip to go out with her. 

DOOL sees Gabi has hired Black Patch to investigate the Titan DiMera merger, putting Philip in potential danger. Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) is digging into the court case where Philip claimed Victor Kiriakis' (John Aniston) legacy based on a forged letter by Vivian Alamain (Louise Sorel). If the forgery scheme is discovered, it could cause major problems for Philip. 

The Days of our Lives episode's promo shows Gabi and Philip in bed together, but it's unclear if they were intimate or if Gabi is trying to deceive Philip to further her plan. This week's episode also shows Belle Black (Martha Madison) and Philip getting flirty, adding more complexity to the situation. If Gabi reveals her night with Philip to Belle, it could lead to hurt feelings.
