Days of our Lives spoilers suggest a plot twist that Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) and Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) are being targeted by a mysterious figure lurking in Salem. Suspicions are being cast on Stephanie's ex, Jeremy Horton (Michael Roark), with many speculating that he might be seeking revenge for past wrongs, but the Days of our Lives writers might be leading us down a false trail. 

DOOL spoilers revealed Jeremy returned to Salem this autumn and immediately sought to make amends with Stephanie, only to be rebuffed. When he tried to move on with Stephanie's best friend, Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu), he was again rejected, leaving him angry and disgruntled. However, is he really behind the series of strange events that are happening around Stephanie and Alex? Or is he just a convenient scapegoat?

Spoilers for Days of our Lives indicate that there are several other potential suspects. Liam Selejko (Hank Northrop), the troubled young criminal Abe Carver (James Reynolds) is tutoring, was also seen wearing black gloves recently. And let's not forget that this is Salem, where the dead don't always stay dead. Could Everett Lynch (Blake Berris), aka Bobby Stein, have returned from the grave to cause chaos?

More DOOL spoilers speculate that Jet Carver (Marcus Patrick), Jeremy's old partner in crime, could be trying to frame him to exact some form of retribution. And then there's Joy Wesley (AlexAnn Hopkins), who left Salem pregnant with Alex's unborn baby and lied about it to Stephanie and Alex. Could she have enlisted her nephew Parker Jonas (Christian Ganiere) to spy on Alex?
