Days of our Lives fans can expect the return of Susan Banks (Stacy Haiduk) to Salem to lend her support during the gripping criminal trial. A psychic revelation from Susan might be the key to figuring out the mystery surrounding the shooting incident. The trial of the summer puts Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman), accused of attempting to kill his father EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel), in the spotlight. Susan, thrilled about EJ's recovery, is dismayed by Johnny's predicament and may use her psychic abilities to unveil the real shooter on the NBC Peacock soap opera.

DOOL sees Belle Black (Martha Madison), recently reinstated as prosecutor, is grappling with the complexities of the case, especially given her intimate involvement with the defense attorney, EJ. Despite doubts, EJ is ready to defend Johnny, believing it demonstrates his faith in the defendant. However, his attempts to recollect the night of the shooting through hypnosis sessions with Dr. Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) have so far been unsuccessful. 

Days of our Lives spoilers suggest Susan will step up for Johnny, likely utilizing her supernatural abilities. Furthermore, Susan's psychic abilities may help EJ remember who shot him. An exciting possibility is that EJ's niece, Rachel Black (Alice Halsey), could be the shooter. Rachel has been exhibiting signs of distress, such as nightmares and anxiety, which might be linked to the shooting incident. If Susan can sense Rachel's guilt, it could change the course of the trial.

Days of our Lives sees Susan's psychic visions won't be admissible in court, but they could be instrumental in proving Johnny's innocence and saving him from prison. However, if Susan uncovers Rachel as the shooter, she is expected to confide in EJ, not the police or Belle. Meanwhile, Rachel may confide in Dr. Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey), who has a strong bond with her from raising her for a while.
