Days of our Lives spoilers show that John Black (Drake Hogestyn) is left in a critical condition, causing his family, including Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) and Belle Black (Martha Madison), and close friends like Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) and Paul Narita (Christopher Sean), to keep a vigil by his bedside. Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey), fresh from her split with Xander Cook (Paul Telfer), faces an awkward encounter as Xander pitches to buy University Hospital, where she works. 

DOOL spoilers reveal that Xander finds himself in hot water as he is arrested for assaulting Phillip Kiriakis (John-Paul Lavoisier). Belle (Martha Madison), the district attorney, is determined to get to the bottom of the case. 

And more weekly spoilers for Days of our Lives indicate that Sophia Choi (Rachel Boyd) and Melinda Trask (Tina Huang) set the ball rolling for Sophia's baby adoption, a plan that Amy Choi (Shi Ne Nielson) is unaware of. 

More spoilers for DOOL hint that Ariella "Ari" Horton (Marissa Reyes) goes missing, and Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) seeks comfort from Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) after his grandpa John's critical condition. The drama continues as Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) opens up to Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) about a potential arrest related to her son Phillip's assault. The week wraps up with the return of Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) and Will Horton (Chandler Massey), who rush to John's bedside.
