Days of our Lives sees Bo and Hope Brady, portrayed by Peter Reckell and Kristian Alfonso, made a fleeting return to Salem. However, fans were left wanting more as Bo and Hope left Salem shortly after their anticipated reunion. Bo Brady's awakening from a two-year coma was a moment of celebration, especially as it came with a life-saving medicine that unfortunately cost John Black (Drake Hogestyn) his life. The joy was short-lived as Bo and Hope made a swift exit, leaving fans disappointed and questioning their return. This disappointment was heightened by the memory of the unfulfilled promise of a grand reunion from two years ago, where Bo fell into a coma with no romantic interaction with Hope on the NBC Peacock soap opera.

DOOL sees the June 18th episode seemingly marked the departure of Bo and Hope, despite their promise of a return. The timing of their exit left fans speculating if another tragedy would be needed to bring the fan-favorite couple back to the show. Their return was, however, appreciated by fans for its authenticity and the reunion moments it offered, especially the nostalgic flashbacks of their love story. Discussions about Bo and Hope working for Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) and their plan to sail away added to the intrigue, hinting at potential short return arcs in the future.

Days of our Lives also teased potential future plots with the mention of Bo and Hope's high school sweetheart Megan Hathaway (Miranda Wilson) who was last seen in 2023. All these elements create the possibility of Bo and Hope's return, potentially in time for the show's 60th anniversary in November 2025.
