Days of Our Lives sees EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) and Belle Black (Martha Madison) have ended their relationship after EJ exposed their affair during Johnny DiMera's (Carson Boatman) attempted murder trial. Belle, shocked and hurt, declared EJ "dead to her" and swore never to see him again after the trial. This unexpected development leaves EJ single and ready to mingle, and speculation is rife about who he will rebound with next on the NBC Peacock soap opera. 

DOOL sees among the potential options is Gwen Rizczech (Emily O'Brien), who was the first to console EJ after the split. Gwen's attraction to bad boys and DiMera's makes her a likely contender. Another possibility is Gabi Hernandez (Cherie Jimenez), who has a history with EJ and is currently working with his brother, Tony DiMera (Thaao Penghlis), to undermine the Kiriakis brothers. Melinda Trask (Tina Huang), EJ's former legal rival, is also in the running. With her recent fraudulent adoption scheme for Sophia Choi (Rachel Boyd) potentially landing her in legal trouble, she might turn to EJ for assistance, both professionally and personally. 

Days of our Lives sees the most intriguing possibility is a rekindling of his relationship with his ex, Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney). The pair share a long history and two children, and Sami's return to Salem for the "Days of our Lives" 60th anniversary episode could spark a reunion. Despite the array of potential partners, Belle might still be in the mix. The pair's love for each other and their undeniable chemistry might lead Belle to reconsider her decision, especially once the trial ends.
