Talking about death is difficult but funerals do tend to spark the conversation, but usually on a superficial level. It's not until you lose someone very close, having to plan a funeral and deal with the aftermath does it make you contemplate your own death. 

Death should not have us thinking about our dying. Death should have us thinking about living. How do you want to live the rest of your life?
